In this episode, Matt tells Leslie about his new TikTok idea. Matt takes a family trip to Cedar Point and shares about the "fast pass scam" and riding roller coasters in your fifties. Leslie closes things out with a story about...yep, you guessed it...death.

Episode 6 begins with a look back to a couple of gym class heroes from Matt & Leslie's school days. Matt tells the story of Mrs. Poor, Leslie has a beef with the royals, and they discuss the first time they saw a person's tenders.

 Laura Parrott Perry is Fire Away's first ever special guest. She, Matt, & Leslie talk about her brand new memoir: Homeward: How one woman embraced being lost to find her way home. This one is shareable for those especially who understand what it is to put the pieces of their lives back together in the aftermath of heartbreak and loss.

Season 2 kicks off with all the deets on Matt & Leslie's 6-week Fire Away sabbatical. In this "Welcome Back" episode, Leslie paints very strange toenails, Matt visits the gay capital of the world, Leslie plans a block party for old people...and standing in solidarity with his cohost, Matt develops an old man illness.
