Matt & Leslie kick off episode 17 with some music pop culture, before taking a hard right into a no holds barred discussion about the dating apps and dick pics. After agreeing that "You See One, You Seen 'Em All,"  they tell their respective love stories and how Leslie fell in love over milk and cornbread.

Matt & Leslie are at it again with plastic surgery gossip; celebrity style. Matt talks Leslie out of letting her hair go gray and Leslie gets half a spray tan. Take a stroll down memory lane with Sally Struthers and jingles of the 80s. This is Fire Away's first Independence Day episode, which (just barely) gets a shout out.

Matt is back in the closet for episode 15. Also, two "firsts" on Fire Away; Matt does hot yoga and Leslie mows the yard. Leslie gets vulnerable while talking about haters, and Matt's husband Chris stops by for a visit. June is Pride month and this episode is ALL ABOUT PRIDE, baby! Because Matt is gay and Leslie is thinking about it. Dolly Parton, Cher, Harvey Milk. Also, Matt and his husband Chris crash a wedding. More things Leslie hates. Matt talks about his irrational fear that someone is gonna kill him...and FINALLY writes a theme song for all their talk on death.

In this episode, Matt and Leslie talk celebrity crushes. (Matt's might surprise you.) The new Netflix blockbuster series, "Heartstopper" is discussed, while several new theme songs are introduced to the podcast. Matt is shocked to hear of Naomi Judd's death, and Leslie opens up about her own struggle with depression. Mental health is a theme.

Matt & Leslie discuss the net worth of celebrities and talk about bad customer service. It becomes clear during their convo that Matt is the one obsessed with death. They mourn the loss of Whitney Houston, and Leslie tells us why her job at Mercedes has left her waiting to exhale. Also, we get to meet Leslie's husband Tom, who was once arrested for peeing in a field with his buddies. Fire Away!

On episode 8, Leslie tells the story of her nail biting near death experience, while Matt shares the deets on how Dark & Lovely hair products almost ruined his life.
