  • Punishing Others for Your Own Insecurities | 011

Everyone has insecurities. Are you inadvertently punishing people around you because of your own hang ups?

Have you ever felt less worthy, less pretty, or intimidated when a beautiful woman or good looking man walks into a room?

Have you ever wondered if your partner finds you less attractive because they follow a certain hottie on social media?

Have you ever hurt or limited your children's friendships because YOU feel out of place with other parents?

These feelings of jealousy or ineptitude can affect those closest to us. When really, there's enough sparkle, love and passion for everyone in this world.

Come sit with us today as we open up about how we ourselves have been guilty of some of these exact things.

As always we thank you for listening. Thank you for sharing this with a friend. xo From our hearts to yours, we see you, we hear you. xo

Your battle is valid. Your body is important. You are "normal". And most importantly you are not alone sweet friends.

  • Does Everybody Have a Price? | 009

When we sat down to record today, we had no plan. No topic. Nada. We hit record anyway, not thinking we'd get anything other than a sound check. Well, convo (and maybe a White Claw or two) started flowing and before we knew it, we had 37 minutes of real talk.

Today, Kathryn gets a lesson on selling dirty panties, OnlyFans and some Sugar Daddy tips.

We quickly revisit Abundance and how it's critical to daily, helpful mindset.

Somehow, that chat turns into talk about IUD's. Which leads us to some religious facts and stances. Growing up LDS and (kinda sorta not really) Catholic still has lasting effects on our lives. And brings us to the question "Is this what I really think/feel, or is it just what i was told"?

Come sit with us. At best, maybe you'll walk away with some new thoughts and perspective on why you believe what you believe. At least, you'll know how to side hustle some panties if times ever get tough.

We love your feedback and questions! Email us: [email protected] or reach out to us on Facebook or Instagram.

If you have heard anything valuable or helpful, please share this episode with a friend. It might just change someone's life. And every share makes us smile big.

  • Decoding The Successful Modern Family: Own Your Sh*t: Part 2 |008

We are back for part 2 of our talk with Franco Zavala, creator and host of the Professional Step Dad Podcast. We finish up with a couple of additional, totally unglamorous but important facets of Blended Families, including how we as adults can strive to find common ground with our own Step Parents. Why and how opening your heart to a new parent figure is critical, even for grownups.

Step Parenting aside, we chat with Franco about letting go of your own hang ups...and we reveal some of our own personal skeletons we have hiding in our closets. We all share more insight into why we each needed this platform and why it's important for each of you.

Hearing is easy. Listening is trickier. It's ok to be wrong and it's okay to own it. Walk through your fires with passion and purpose. The view from the top is more than worth it.

We want YOU to live full out in your truths and authenticity. If you are looking for permission to do that...here it is.

We love your feedback and questions! Email us: [email protected] or reach out to us on Facebook or Instagram.

  • Decoding The Successful Modern Family: Part 1 |008

We are poppin our 3-way cherry today with our first guest, Franco Zavala. Franco is the creator and host of The Professional Step-Dad Podcast AND father figure to 5 children.

Talking about Step-Parenting challenges and successes isn't the most glamours subject and isn't as prevalent in mainstream conversation as it should be, considering how common it is in modern families. Today we talk with Franco about all aspects of successful step families including:

    * The role of a step parent

    * What personal work needs to be done by both individuals (bio parent and new spouse) before they can expect harmony in their new family dynamic

    * The role that DNA and being a protector plays into marriage

    * Recognizing your worth and what you each bring to the table

    * What a single parent is actually seeking

    * Learning to let your guard down when you meet someone worthy of trust with your children

    * Handing outside criticism from your partners ex and also their family

    * Importance of being in sync with your spouse and understanding all communication, both verbal and non verbal.

    * Decoding what your own parents are concerned about in your potential and new relationships and the real reason why they ask the questions they do

    * Why both partners need to be "all-in"

    * The feeling of being called "Dad" or "Mom" for the first time

Today isn't just for blended families. Everyone can learn from and apply these points to their own relationships... with their spouse, children, parents and even close friends.

    * How the negativity from feelings of scarcity can potentially be all-consuming.

    * Ways to help shift your mind from thoughts of Scarcity to feelings of Abundance.

    * Grounding yourself in dark times of depression with simple pleasures.

    * Removing the "Hard Line" we unconsciously draw in our minds to help see there are many ways to accomplish our goals...they just might look different than we think they should.

We explore attachment styles and why being aware of your own personal style is so relevant in the worlds current climate. We chat about love languages and why knowing your attachment style is critical to understanding why your love language doesn't feel fulfilled. In our last episode we briefly mentioned Love Addiction and after we were asked by our listeners to talk more about what that all means as well. • Important Come, errrr Take Aways Here | 005

Not every story has a happy ending. And that's okay. Today we talk about processing outside feedback. Accepting the fact that when you decide to be vulnerable and share your whole self, no one will ever see you the same again. We also discuss the power of removing shame from self exploration and pleasure. The value of acknowledging what really turns you on and how important it is that we teach our children, daughters especially, the same.
