You’ve probably built something “for God.” But what if He never initiated it? What if the fire that’s already here isn’t coming to test your effort—but to reveal the source? In this opening episode, we confront the hidden independence that can exist inside even our most spiritual activity—and we return to the foundation: Christ Himself.
Ask yourself:
What if the Christian life isn’t about producing fruit... but about trusting the Life that’s already inside you?
In this episode, Alex shares a powerful personal story from 2023 — a day of traffic jams, hospital runs, and unexpected patience — revealing how the true life of the Son matures inside the new man.
We’ll explore why the self-life can never be faithful, but the faithfulness of Christ already lives in us, growing quietly and powerfully as we abide.
Ask yourself:
This isn’t about big moments. This is about the slow, unseen formation that happens when no one’s watching. When it feels like life is paused. When nothing’s clear. When the Father benches you.
In this final episode, I share how the new man is matured in hidden seasons—not through ministry activity, but through daily surrender and total dependency on Him.
Ask yourself:
Life as a son is formed in the hidden places. Discipleship takes place in those Father/Son moments, out of the spotlight.
In this episode, I share a moment where the Holy Spirit exposed where I was still holding onto earthly security, and how the Father was teaching me how a son lives—holding nothing tightly, trusting Him fully.
This was the life of a son being forged in real time.
Ask yourself:
You can be preaching, serving, even leading—doing all the “right” things—and still not be living from the life you were born again to live.
In this opening episode, I share how I spent years performing out of the residue of the old man (self & flesh), without even realising it… and how the Father began to show me who I truly am in Christ—the new man.

Grab a drink, a notebook and a pen and get ready for a deep dive!
The weak gospel found in much of outreach and evangelism stops at forgiveness but never brings believers into union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
It leaves the old man untouched and the new man unborn. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul preached a very different gospel — one of union, death to the old creation, and the birth of a new man — nothing like the diluted message so common today.
In this episode, we expose the fatal gap in the "ABC gospel" and proclaim the true gospel: not just forgiven, but crucified with Christ, raised in Him, and made entirely new.

How does God reveal what is truly of the Spirit—and what is merely of the soul? In this episode, we turn to Watchman Nee’s powerful section, The Light of God and Knowledge, from The Normal Christian Life. We discover that the soul cannot diagnose itself—and that real self-knowledge only comes when the light of God breaks in. This isn’t about introspection or religious striving. It’s about the moment His Word enters and exposes the self-life—not to condemn, but to cleanse. Because only what is exposed can be surrendered, and only what is surrendered can be broken.
“In Thy light shall we see light.” (Psalm 36:9)

Could it be that your greatest strength is the very thing hindering the life of Christ from being expressed through you? In this second episode of The Soul Life series, we explore how the soul—comprised of the mind, will, and emotions—became overdeveloped after the Fall. Drawing from Watchman Nee’s The Normal Christian Life, we learn that even our talents, intellect, and good intentions must pass through the cross. Because what God has not broken, He cannot use.

What does it mean that Adam became a “living soul”? In this foundational episode, we return to the creation of man in Genesis 2:7 and explore God’s original design: spirit, soul, and body.
You’ll discover that the soul was never meant to rule your life—but to express the Spirit. This episode lays the groundwork for understanding why most of us live from the wrong source—and how God’s eternal purpose is not performance, but sonship.
