God created beauty, gave Adam and Eve the first wedding, the best honeymoon and a perfect place to live with no external temptations, and yet they sinned. Temptation comes from our own desires. James 1:14. Adam and Eve: 1) Questioned God's Word, 2) Doubted God's Goodness and 3) they sinned. Let's look at the temptation and fall of Adam and Eve.

This is the third time in the book of John that Jesus appears to His disciples. At first they do not know it is Jesus. The disciples had been fishing that night and did not catch a thing. Jesus tells them to throw their net off the other side of the boat. They catch 153 fish yet the nets do not tear. They then recognize Jesus and eat a meal with Him.

Thomas turned from doubt to faith. Thomas said he would not believe unless he felt the holes in Jesus' hands, feet and side. Jesus appeared to him and asked him to heel his hands, feet and side. Thomas said, "My Lord and My God."

Four ways that Jesus equips us for mission: 1) He prepares us - He gives us peace. 2) He sends us just as the Father sent Jesus, 3) He empowers us by giving us the Holy Spirit, 4) He authorizes us - He gives us the gospel which has the power to forgive sin.

Did Jesus really die and then did He really rise from the dead? If He truly did and if you truly believed this, how would this change your life?

3 Reasons Jesus Came to Die: 1) Jesus was fulfilling scripture, 2) Jesus was forming a family, 3) Jesus was finishing our redemption. If we truly believe this, it will change everything!

Pilate receives a political hot potato from the Jewish leaders. Jesus declares Himself to be 1) The Real King, 2) The Righteous King, 3) The Heavenly King, 4) The Condemned King. Is Jesus king of your life?

Peter denies the Lord three times. Jesus is the answer to our failures and our weaknesses. In this sermon Tim talks about the contrast between Peter and Jesus. Like Peter, we are not as strong as we think. Jesus is stronger than we realize.

In the scripture, there are 3 ways Jesus is working: 1) Jesus reveals Himself as God, 2) Jesus protects His disciples, 3) Jesus gives Himself up. Jesus stepped forward and drank the cup of God's wrath for us. If we trust in Jesus, the cup of God's wrath will be taken from us.

What is important to Jesus? In this section of scripture Jesus prays for us. There are four requests that Jesus makes: 1) Our Unity with Each Other, 2) Our Unity with God, 3) Our Witness to the World, 4) Our Reunion with Him.
