What we think on and what we allow in our minds is important. We need to be careful to think on good thinks and not on things that will bring us down. In verse 9, Paul presents himself as an example. Paul says that if we will apply the things we have learned from him, we will experience the peace of God.

This passage teaches us how to experience God's joy, gentleness and peace.

Philippians 4:2-3 is Paul's plea to two women in the Philippian church that they get along. We can settle differences and get along in the church because we have the same Lord, the same mission and the same future. Jesus prayed for unity within the church before He died. We need to come together and work together for the sake of the gospel.

In this passage Paul encourages the people of Philippi to watch his life as an example as to how they should live. We learn from people all around us. It is important for us to find people who can be good examples to us.

Daniel was a man who was taken from his own country, given a new name and given new food to eat. He was truly living as a stranger in a new land. We as Christians may feel the same way. Let's look and see how Daniel responded to being a "Stranger Living in a New Land."

Why does Christmas matter? 1) Jesus is a Savior For Us and 2) Jesus is God With Us. Jesus came to live among us to teach us how to live and to die on the cross for our sins.

Sometimes we think of genealogies as just long lists of people. Can we find hope in the genealogy recorded in Matthew 1:1-17? Let's find out.

As Christians, we are not perfect but we press on toward the goal of being what Christ wants us to be.

In Philippians 3 Paul tells us that all his religious works were garbage. Our righteousness comes from Christ and what he did not the cross, not our attempts at good works.

Epaphroditus was honored by Paul because he was faithful in the task that we was given to do. Paul uses the life of Epaphroditus to teach us about the importance of being a faithful worker for Christ.
