The new year is a time when many of us take a look at the priorities in our lives. We try to put them back in the order they should be, rather than where they truly are. For many people the list starts with "Put Jesus First" but what does that even mean? Is it possible that by putting Him first on the list we actually separate Him from the rest of the list? We all know that Christ should be first. But what if, instead of putting him first, we saw him as “in” all things? And put Him at the center.

With everything we have learned so far from this series it should be no surprise to discover that one of our highest priorities is to have a grateful heart. So what are you doing about it this season? Because God has given you such great gifts, has it led you to having a grateful heart? We will be making observations about gratitude that just might help us make this Christmas the best one ever!

Our God is definitely above all things and knowing this is going to make a difference for us this Christmas season. This week we continue by looking at how to handle the fact that the people who have the power to meet our expectations are often the ones who let us down, especially when it comes to family. So how does God’s Power help us find the Place we most need to be in this Christmas?

“Glory to God in the highest” is not just the chorus to an old Christmas hymn. It’s a declaration that our God is above all things, the highest! He’s the reason that the Christmas season means anything at all. This week we focus on the glory of God. Believe it or not, this will help us with what happens at Christmas.

With such a huge selection to choose from, countless apps are downloaded, but only a few are used. When it comes to our lives, the Bible gives us many applications to live by, but the change only happens as we apply them.

We get so excited about baptisms around here! It’s a great day when we get to see people take the plunge to show they are willing to let a watching world know that Jesus is Lord in their life! This week we look at the simple command of Jesus to be baptized. Even though it's a simple command it can seem so difficult for some of us.
