And, the historic Norman Studios Silent Film Museum screens its first film of the new year, focusing on a favorite genre of the studio’s namesake. Richard Edward Norman, who produced silent films featuring African Americans at the Arlington site from 1919 to 1928, was a fan of Westerns. The short film Wild (1921) screens at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rita F. Reagan Set Building followed by Sky High (1922), starring Tom Mix. The screening is free, but registration is required.
