Bleach drinking, peroxide ingesting people traveling in a caravan across the United States to see Donald Trump speak, this QAnon offshoot allegedly formed in early November, around charismatic(ish) leader Michael Protzman, who believes that JFK and JFK, Jr. are alive...or that he is JFK, Jr., or that he channels the spirit of JFK, Jr. depending on the day you ask him, in Dallas, TX.

However you parse that out, this group waited for multiple weeks for JFK to reappear in Dealey Plaza, the infamous site of the shooting death of the then President of the United States, on November 22, 1963.

When JFK failed to appear, the group began following former President Donald Trump around to events, to watch him speak.

Along with their antivax beliefs, Negative48 seems to believe that they are able to decode the secrets of the universe with the help of "Gematria General" Michael Protzman. They appear to believe that Donald Trump among others communicates specifically to them, in the form of numbers, which members work hard, often staying up for days on end to discern, based on a skewed form of Gematria which is, in reality, more like a simple caesar cipher, which they use to "decode" the words used by those they follow.

We at First Question want to thank those who stepped forward to speak with us. It is said that hours, days, weeks, and months of research into right-wing conspiracies can make one a little unbalanced. We at First Question podcast can confirm that, sadly, that is exactly what happened to Dominique.

As Dom sat, recovering from the omicron variant of covid19, feverish and alone in her home office, with piles of audio editing and research to do, it occurred to her...

What if she wrote a song?

A song that expressed the very specific kind of frustration that one can only feel when they've been researching and debunking QAnon conspiracy theories, pizzagate, and hashtag savethechildren.

You see, Dom's been telling folks til she's practically blue in the face that "clover gender," a new fun and fresh lgbtqi+ inclusive rebranding of pedophiles as a protected class, and a sinister basement torture dungeon in a pizza parlor without a basement aren't real...

...That no one is selling children, cleverly disguised as industrial cabinetry on popular mid to high-range home decor aggregation sites...

...And that adrenochrome is a boring neurotransmitter and not some miraculous wonder drug that keeps the empty hearts of "elites" beating long past their expirations dates.

But much to their chagrin, Dom has learned time and time again that debunking isn't as sexy as LARPing some wide-reaching, over-the-top conspiracy theory during a global pandemic when there's nothing else to do, so what did Dom do with that information?

Dom turned her debunking into something fun enough...nay...SEXY enough to compete with the nefarious pull of misinformation: a song!

In this song, Dom sits down with fictional characters "Becky" and "Brad," in order to break the bad news to them: that contrary to apparently popular belief, nobody actually wants their children, let alone a shadowy cabal of global "elites," perhaps not even "Becky" or "Brad."

Listen to Dom's fever-inspired parody song, "Nobody Wants Your Children, Becky," and hopefully it will do what Dom intended and make you laugh off the crazy.

Moral panics have shaped not only extremist movements throughout history, but they've shaped the very laws and rules, both spoken and unspoken upon which our nation (the USA) was founded and which continue to be a prevalent part of daily life today.

Extremist movements, like the now global QAnon conspiracy theory, which was born if not in the United States (there is some debate about who the initial 'main' anon on the website 4Chan who first began making viral posts as "Q" was, and at least one candidate for the initial 'main' 4Chan anon posting as "Q" is known to live outside the United States), certainly 'of' the United States, both in subject matter and in rhetoric, and was most certainly influenced, if not wholly constructed from the satanic panic.

So let's take a look at how that one particular panic, the satanic panic of the 1980s came about, and let's examine how it has likely given birth to and certainly accelerated extremist movements which have happened since, like QAnon.
