Fish With Friends

Today we renamed the different types of sprinklers people have and we decided that the rotary sprinkler was herby going to be referred to as the "Hurty Squirt". We named it this because if the water pressure is high enough it really hurts when it really squirts. Also on the show, we learned that James Bond is going to be a dad in the new James Bond movie, we found out that most people haven't touched another human outside of their family in months, and Connie told us all how we should be brushing our teeth. In this episode of Connie and Fish, we say goodbye to Home Schoolin' and hello to Summer Break. Since most kids will be out of school by this time of year, we decided to put Home Schoolin' on hiatus until the fall after one last class. Also on the show, Fish found a really interesting remix of Ratt's Round and Round which he chose for his Friday Fish Pick, we learned that the Mayor of Cleveland refers to his city as "The Butthole of the World", and we asked if nice guys really do finish last. The game that everybody loves and Steve always loses is back with a brand new sound to guess! We got a message from a listener who said they were dying for us to play, so we did. That means 2 things, first it means that What's That Sound is wildly popular, and secondly, we will do whatever you ask of us. Also on the show, we talked about a possible coronavirus vaccine, we had our last serious Home Schoolin' segment before summer break, and we learned all about the meat vending machine. Today on the show, we got a little bit side tracked with the Text Question of the Day. Connie's "real" answer to the question got pretty deep and we talked with Connie about the grieving of her father and her mother's deteriorating health. It got pretty emotional, but we were still able to make Connie smile and laugh throughout the show. And thank you to everyone who sent in messages to Connie, we love and appreciate you all! For today's Daddy Tips, Steve is focusing on the crib and how important it can be to keep your toddler in line. However, if your toddler is already in a normal bed, you only get one Daddy Tip this week and you get some regret for letting your toddler out of their crib.

Today on the show we discovered that one of the members of the Click of Six has a lesbian ghost living in their house! Either that or they have a boyfriend who is cheating with some chick while she is at work. Connie thinks he's a cheater, but all of the boys on the show say it's probably a ghost. Also on the show, we learned that people have sneezing fetishes, it's the 35th anniversary of Back to the Future, and Steve loses yet another game to Connie. It was a long weekend for Americans as the coronavirus and riots raged across the country.  Today we talked about what happened here in our city and what happened across the country.  We took your calls and read your emails and texts on the show and gave people a platform to voice their opinions.  Also on the show, we tried to still be light-hearted and talked about some good news with a principal and his high school graduates, Steve quizzed Connie and Fish on their chemistry knowledge for Home Schoolin', and we had a pretty silly Text Question of the Day to give everyone a much needed chuckle.  All of that and much more on today's show!

It's Friday, and that means it's time for a fun subject for our Home Schoolin' segment. We've done recess before but Steve thought that it might be fun to change it up since the weather has been a bit rainy lately, and do indoor recess themed questions. Also on the show, we learned about an arrest that only made national news because of the man's name, we shared a story of a 7-year-old boy putting together a prom for his babysitter, and we asked if you are comfortable with farting around your co-workers. Sorry ahead of time for the lack of editing in this episode of the podcast, but my computer crashed 3 times while putting this together and each time I had to start over from scratch. So, the final time I decided that editing wasn't important. In this episode, you get to hear baby Charlotte (she really isn't even a baby anymore, she's 2 in a half) make an appearance at the end. She says hi to Connie and Fish, and talks about a few other things as well. We got to hear some brand new audio from baby Charlotte today! Steve showed his daughter some fireworks on Monday night and she was quite impressed. So impressed that she was talking about them all night. Steve recorded a little rant she had that was full of gibberish and played it on the show. Also on the show, we talked about the prospect of a modern day milkman, we learned a little bit about the science of picky eating, and Connie's cat Kevin pooped his pants.
