This week we go back in time with Fitzroy, Sydney and Hawthorn wingman Darren Kappler. Darren reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game.
Darren, who was recruited from South Adelaide, was recruited to Fitzroy in 1987, where he played 87 games and won a club best and fairest award. Darren then went on to play with Sydney for four seasons playing 57 games and then finished his career at Hawthorn in 1998.
In this chat, Darren talks about entering the VFL as a mature age player, his time with Fitzroy, wanting to move to Sydney, kicking to some of the game's greatest forwards, returning to Victoria and finishing his career with Hawthorn.
A great listen with our thirty-fifth member of 'The 90's Club Footy Podcast'.
