We're back! After another busy few weeks of real-world working, we return with another four drinks to review. We also talk about what the boys have been up to, including filming Twin Atlantic's latest music video, planning TRNSMT Festival and working on TV sets across the country. We didn't even get to our first review before we had a sidebar ...
We review Ben Shaw's Cloudy Lemonade, a heritage brand from England; another big limited flavour from Mountain Dew - Major Melon from the US; Appletiser's little cousin, Grapetiser, from New Zealand and then wrapping it up with a limited flavour Coca-Cola from Quebec, Canada - the Maple Syrup! Will we see some changes on the leaderboard? 👀👀

Apologies to all the mountains of fans out there for this episode coming at you a week later than promised - tune in to find out why, as Al fills us in on his week working on the big screen. There's also chat about TV subscriptions, the latest movies the boys are watching, Shooting Stars, party food and Andy brings in some snacks from New Zealand.
Drinks wise, we kick it off with Guaraná Antarctica from Brazil (thanks to Cold Blooded Sports!), Si Jalla from Norway (thanks to Fraz Urie!), Kirks Kole Beer from New Zealand and finishing off with the limited edition Pepsi Blue from the US.

The first episode in our new fortnightly timeslot, and the boys are thirsty to get back to work on another 4 drinks.
In between checking out Virgil's Handcrafted Orange, Man Dew Dew-S-A, Haus Boom Blackcurrant and Fanta Berry, the boys chat everything from the Tour de France and Tubbees in Glasgow to Matt Hancock, being fired and firing staff and even an impromptu head-to-head 'snake draft' of sodas.

Eventually we were able to host our live, in-person show, from SWG3 - joined by some of you in the room, drinking along with us! Despite some technical issues to begin with, we were virtually joined by Seamus McDaid (of McDaid's) and comedian and podcast host, Marc Jennings.
On paper, this should be a high scoring line up with some of the most anticipated drinks (both from us and the general public), kicking off with McDaid's American Cream Soda from Ireland. Marc then joined us to sample one of his favourites - Irn Bru - as well as Karma Cola. Seamus eventually got through on our Zoom call and we sampled Club Lemon together, before rounding off with Jarritos Mandarin.
Everyone in the room was sampling along with us - so it was very interesting to see how we (the professionals) scored it versus the amateurs in the crowd!

3 out of the 4 drinks on today's episode hail from Africa, which must be a must for the show.
We kick it off with a pretty shocking start in Maltina, a malted "healthy" soda from Nigeria before heading over the States for a Jones Soda and Warheads collab with their extreme sour black cherry flavour. We're then back to Africa, South Africa to be exact, and another visit from Sparletta (owned by the Coca-Cola Company) who are here with their "Creme Soda" flavour before rounding off the day with Afri-Cola which is, bizarrely, made in Germany. Previously one of the most popular in the country, it's popularity has wained in recent years - but is it still any good?
We also chat council tapas, the (hopeful, actual) live show and wishing we had better drinks on this show ...

🚨 EPISODE NOTE: This episode was recorded before we were aware we had to move the live show (originally scheduled for 22 May), so don't worry, you've not missed it - it's now happening on 5 June at SWG3 🚨
This week we sit down with UK hipster brand Gunna to sample their Ginger Lemonade, Mirinda is back from the Middle East with their orange, the Juggalos of Detroit will be pleased as Faygo makes another visit to the show with Fruit Punch and the Independent Brewing Company are seeking redemption for a (criminally) low score from Andy on their Cream Soda as they return with their Black Cherry.
There's also chats of the best hustles and more as we venture into more side bars.

Back in the studio once again for another 4 drink reviews - we kick it off with Sparletta Sparberry (a "cream soda" from South Africa), Uludag Frutti Extra from the Middle East, Rubicon Lychee from the UK before rounding things off with Club-Mate Cola from Germany. Another German cola (fritz-kola) is currently sitting at 4.1 at the top of the board - how will this score once through the Five Star Sodas, triple-filtered scoring system?
We also jump into pranks at school, jumping out of planes and hustling.

The boy's are back together! Finally, after restrictions easing, we're back in the studio to bring you Five Star Sodas as it was intended! Join us as we shake off the cobwebs with 4 new drinks - Nick kicks things off with Barr's classic Shandy from Sunny Scotland; Andy brings in Inca Kola from Peru and Al brings Ironbeer from Cuba before the bonus drink, Boylan's from the USA rounds it off. On paper, a very strong lineup, but how will the score once they've been put through the Five Star Sodas, triple-filtered scoring system?
We also dive into 'hauners', 'pole-crushers', weird jobs and what the boys have been watching on TV.

After a long day waiting for COVID test results, unfortunately the guys had to do yet another episode virtually, despite being all set for a return to the studio - but we WILL be back together next week!
Episode 21 brings what looks, on paper, to be another solid lineup with Andy bringing our first drink from down under in Solo Original Lemon, Al brings another Boylan's flavour with their Creme and Nick brings a limited edition Mirinda to the table with a Blueberry Orange flavour. This weeks bonus drink is Fanta Lulo, which is a Colombian citrus fruit popular in Japan, apparently. One of that lot joins the Hall of Fame ... listen in to find out which!
There's also chat about the Five Star Sodas weight-loss challenge, travel experiences and our favourite and most hated sounds!
