Elementary: God never changes

Pre-K: Does God ever change? No!

Bible Story: Genesis 27-28

Memory Verse- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

1. HE - What does it say about God that he doesn't change but will always be all of the great things that he is?
2. WE - What is a time you needed to make a change for the better?
3. ME - Spend some time thanking God for being so great all the time.

Brite Idea Week 5:

Elementary: God is in control!

Pre-K: Who is God? The Creator of Everyone and Everything!

Bible Story: Genesis 12-15

Memory Verse: By Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth…all things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16)

1. HE- What is something you are glad that God has control over?
2. WE-What can we do when people let us down?
3. ME-What is something you try to be in charge of?

Elementary: No one is greater than God!

Pre-K: Who is God? The Creator of Everyone and Everything!

Bible Story: Genesis 11:1-9

Memory Verse: By Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth…all things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16)

1. HE - Who is greater than God?
2. WE -Why do we try to do things our own way instead of trusting God?
3. ME -When is it hard for you to trust that God's way is better?

Brite Idea Week 3:

Elementary: God is holy, but people sin.

Pre-K: Who is God? The Creator of Everyone and Everything!

Bible Story: Genesis 3

Memory Verse: By Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth…all things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16)

1. HE - God is perfect. Spend some time praising him together out loud for being perfect!
2. WE - Why do people do wrong things?
3. ME - What is one thing you've done wrong lately? Talk about it out loud and ask God for forgiveness. Thank him for offering it to you!

Elementary: God made people in his image!

Pre-K: Who is God? The Creator of Everyone and Everything!

Bible Story: Genesis 1-2

1. HE -What does it mean to you that God made you in his image?
2. WE - Why did God make people?
3. ME - What is one thing you can do to make the world a better place for God this week?

1. HE - What is something amazing that you see in the world? What does it tell you about God that he made it?
2. WE - Why does it matter to us that God is the creator?
3. ME - what is something you are thankful for in your life? Thank God for making that thing!

Brite Idea Week 4:

Elementary: God helps us love others

Pre-K: Who can we ask for help? We can ask God!

Bible Story: James 2:1-17

Memory Verse: “May God equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ.” (Hebrews 13:21a)

1. HE - How does it feel knowing that God doesn't play favorites?
2. WE - How can we love others like God does?
3. ME - Who is someone that you can show God's love for this week?
