Elementary: Jesus loves what is right

Pre-K: Does Jesus always love us? Yes!

Bible Story: Matthew 21:12-17

Memory Verse: "As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love." (John 15:9)

1. HE - When we say Jesus is righteous, it means he is completely good and does nothing wrong. Why is that an important thing to know about Jesus?
2. WE -Unlike Jesus, we sin why is it important for us to remember we aren't perfect?
3. ME -What is one way you can make choices that are more like Jesus this week?

Brite Idea Week 3:

Elementary: Jesus came to save us.

Pre-K: Does Jesus always love us? Yes!

Bible Story: Matthew 21:1-11

Memory Verse: "As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love." (John 15:9)

1. HE - What are some ways to celebrate Jesus?
2. WE - What kind of decisions do we make that separate us from God through sin?
3. ME - think of some times where you didn't make the right decision. Spend some time together thanking God for his forgiveness.

Brite Idea Week 2:

Elementary: Jesus loves everyone

Pre-K: Does Jesus always love us? Yes!

Bible Story: Luke 17:11-19

Memory Verse: "As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love." (John 15:9)

1. HE -What does it tell us about God that he loves people that humans might not love?
2. WE - When can it be hard to love other people?
3. ME - Think of someone you know that might not receive love from others. How can you show them the love God has for them this week?

1. HE - When is it hard to believe that God loves you?
2. WE - How does this story give us confidence that God will always love you?
3. ME - This about some of the ways you feel loved by God. Spend time as a family thanking him and praising him together!

Pre-K: Who has power over all things? Jesus does!

Bible Story: Luke 10:38-42

Memory Verse: "So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10–11)

1. HE - Why does Jesus care about people?
2. WE -How can we get closer to Jesus?
3. ME - Name one way you are going to set aside time as a family to spend time with God this week?

Brite Idea Week 3:

Elementary: Jesus reveals God’s glory.

Pre-K: Who has power over all things? Jesus does!

Bible Story: Mark 9, Luke 9

Memory Verse: "So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10–11)

1. HE - How does the life of Jesus show us a little bit about who God is? What qualities did Jesus display?
2. WE - Who is someone in the church that shows you who God is by the way they treat you?
3. ME - We are supposed to show others who Jesus by our actions here on earth. What is something you can do this week to represent Jesus well?

Brite Idea Week 2:

Elementary: Jesus Provides

Pre-K: Who has power over all things? Jesus does!

Bible Story: John 6:1-15

Memory Verse: "So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10–11)

1. HE -In what ways did Jesus provide more than people thought in this story? What does that tell us about Jesus?
2. WE - What is something you want to ask God for? (try not to direct towards the physical needs but emotional needs.)
3. ME - How has God provided for you in the past? is there something you were scared about and you saw him help you? Praise him for that.

Brite Idea Week 1:

Pre-K: Who has power over all things? Jesus does!

Bible Story: Matthew 12:1-14

Memory Verse - "So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10–11)

1. HE - What is something that seems too big for you to control? What does that tell you about how powerful God is that he has authority over it?
2. WE - When is it hardest to trust God? Why?
3. ME - Spend some time praising God for being Lord of all things. What do you want to tell him?

Brite Idea Week 4:

Pre-K: Who is Jesus? Jesus is God’s son!

Bible Story: Mark 4-5

Memory Verse: "But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." (John 20:31)

1. HE - How is Jesus so powerful?
2. WE - Is Jesus' power scary?
3. ME - What is one thing you are thankful for? Share those things with your family and spend some time praying and thanking God for making them!

Brite Idea Week 3:

Elementary: Jesus invites us to follow him.

Pre-K: Who is Jesus? Jesus is God’s son!

Bible Story: John 1:35-51

Memory Verse: "But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." (John 20:31)

1. HE - What does it mean to follow someone?
2. WE - What does it look like to follow Jesus?
3. ME - what is one thing you want to start doing to show Jesus you want to follow him? Brainstorm as a family!
