When the fantasy experts are away, the producer will play. Samuel takes over hosting this week with Mike and Jon out. He brings in BP fantasy team members Mark Berry and Howard Megdal for a unique fantasy baseball thought experiment. Gone are the evaluations and FAAB bids. In are wild ideas about how to change baseball for the...better? Our three band of baseball buddies traipse through their minds to come up with old, new, and sometimes shocking ideas of how to improve the great game of baseball.

Mike, Jon, and Samuel are back with a bag of post deadline related things. They start with a discussion of the draft in light of Kumar Rocker's unfair treatment by the Mets, before wondering if abolishing the draft would actually create as much interest among fans as it would fairness among players. After that, they move towards cleaning up some of the big trades that went down around the deadline.

The whole crew is back this week, and what a big week to be back. With just under 48 hours until the deadline at recording time Mike, Jon, and Samuel discuss what's happened so far. That mainly starts with Samuel sadboi'ing over the Joey Gallo trade that broke earlier in the day, which derails the show for a good fifteen minutes. The wheels get back on though, with more trade analysis including a big breakdown on Starling Marte for Jesus Luzardo. Enjoy this before the GMs get too bloodthirsty and blow the whole league up!

Hi y'all, producer Samuel here. As Mike mentions on the show, I'm on assignment this week so I'm not on the show. That said the show features Mike Gianella, Jon Hegglund, and Mikey Ajeto from Pitcher List talking about...something. I asked what I should look out for and I was told "There are swears." So, there's that. I'm assuming there's some baseball talk in there as well. I heard the word "Giants" a few time, so there's something you can latch onto. Also Mikey has a great laugh to end the show, so that's worth listening to all of it for. Anyway, enjoy!

Mike, Jon, and Samuel are back after a week off. They start the show with a conversation about how MLB's ineptitude on players like Trevor Bauer is harmful for the fantasy community both now and in the future. They then transition to a discussion of some midseason surprises both good and bad.

Mike, Jon, and Samuel try out something a little different this week where they go around the horn and discuss whatever baseball topic comes to mind. This hardball roulette brings them to Shohei Ohtani's talents and trousers, the recent MLB crypto partnership, what should a quality start actually be, and the foolishness of the sticky stuff enforcement policy.

OK, this is probably the wildest episode of the current era. Mike, Jon, and Samuel start the episode talking about basketball, as one does on a fantasy baseball podcast. Then they pivot to their actual discussion, which is about current trends in the game that were unexpected and how that apply fantasy wise. It goes off the rails shortly after as the lads go into a discussion about journeyman reliever Dennis Lamp. No, we're not kidding. It's a lot of fun though.
