Flags Fly Forever Fantasy Baseball

A tradition unlike any other, it's the annual LABR episode! Our experts Bret Sayre from Baseball Prospectus and Steve Gardner from USA Today arrive to talk with Mike about all things LABR. Bret and Mike break down the AL side, and after a brief break Steve joins Mike to talk about the NL. It's one of our tentpole episodes every year, so come enjoy this year's edition.

It's (sort of) starting pitcher week, and we have a guest! Pitcher List's Mikey Ajeto joins Mike, Jon, and Samuel for a special edition of positional week. The first half of the episode discusses TGFBI, which is currently wrapping up drafts. The lads talk through draft strategy, what surprised them, and how their approaches adjusted for 2021. In the second half, it's all about starting pitchers. State of the position, players to look out for, sleepers that you might not know, and even a crash course on streaming pitchers. It's all with one of our favorite people in the fantasy community.

A bit of a change as positional week rounds into the backstretch. Mike, Jon, and Samuel eschew their normal format for a more free flowing discussion of all things outfield. Topics include is Mike Trout overrated, is there too much wish casting in the higher outfield tiers, where the best value in all of fantasy this year might be, and how to handle the lower end of outfield possibilities. All that and more on Outfield Week!

After the winter storms in Texas delayed recording by a week, the gang is back to tackle...*sigh* catchers. Mike, Jon, and Samuel power through the first of the two most difficult positions to cover in any given year. Bear with us, we're doing our best..

Positional week rolls on again, this time with shortstops. Mike, Jon, and Samuel break down a star rich position with a surprising amount of depth at the high and low ends. Plus there's ten minutes on Adalberto Mondesí. How can you resist that?

Another week, another position and this time it's the hot corner. Mike, Jon, and very briefly Samuel break down the ranks of the third base spot in fantasy this year. There's a lot of movement in this group this season over last, but the lads help you sort through what's gold and what's not in this year's edition.

Positional Week is indeed here! This year starts differently though; Mike, Jon, and Samuel start not with catcher but first base. They break down a position that is top light, but deep through the middle, and explore some off the wall options in the grab bag tier. As you get ready for your drafts, this is as essential content as we make throughout the year.

Mike, Jon, and Samuel continue to get ready for Positional Week by breaking down a couple adds in the reliever market this week. They then get to the meat of the week's show, where they break down trends they're seeing for the 2021 season in early drafts(mock or otherwise) and other industry trends. If you're looking to be an early adopter on the 2021 campaign, this episode is a good first stop before we hit the grind next week.

After some issues last week, the lads are back in 2021! The first episode sees Mike, Jon, and Samuel break down the big Mets-Cleveland deal sending Francisco Lindor to the Big Apple. In the second half of the program, Samuel asks the lads for tips on how to re-enter the fantasy baseball space which devolves into a philosophical discussion on a variety of subjects. Really, it's the full Flags Fly Forever experience to start the season. What more could you want?
