Isaiah 43:25–44:20, Isaiah paints a devastating picture of the foolishness of idolatry. Revelation 11:1–19, the vision within the vision: the two witnesses between the sixth and the seventh trumpet. Then, the seventh and final trumpet sounds.

Isaiah 43:1–24, God‘s great love for his people, and his desire, that they be his witnesses, his contrasted to the lack of love, his people show to him. Revelation 9:13–10:11, the sixth trumpet unleashes the four angels holding back worldwide catastrophe we met in revelation seven, and then an interlude between the sixth and the seventh trumpet. The end is near, but the bittersweet word of God must be preached first.

Isaiah 42:1–25, the true servant of the Lord, and the blind and deaf servant! Revelation 9:1–12, the terrifying plague of demonic locusts, unleashed by the fifth trumpet.

Isaiah 40:18–41:10, the everlasting God of Israel is contrasted to the pitiful gods of the pagans. Revelation 8:1–13, the vision of the seven trumpets. Specifically, will look at the first four trumpets, and compare them to the first four bowls of God’s wrath, of described in Rev. chapter 16.

Isaiah 40:1–17. in chapters 40 through 66, Isaiah begins to prophecy about the long-term future of God‘s people, long after the Assyrians are gone, even after the Babylonians are gone, even all the way to the end of time. Revelation 7:1–17, two more visions that relate to the final judgment, specifically, to the people of God and how they will fair in that judgment.

Isaiah 34:1–2, 8–35:10, a vision of the destiny of the kingdoms of this world, and the glorious future of the kingdom of God. Revelation 6:1–17, six visions of the end times, beginning with Jesus’ ascension into heaven, And ending with his glorious return and final judgment.

Isaiah 33:1–24, as Isaiah unfolds These prophecies, Jerusalem is seeing bleak times. But Isaiah assured them of their future glory, and of the sure and sudden destruction of their enemy, Assyria. Revelation 5:1–14, John’s stunning vision of Jesus’ Ascension into heaven, to the right hand of God, to begin his reign, having been found worthy of all honor and power and glory.

Isaiah 32:1–20, the age of the coming Messiah is described. Meanwhile, to the women who are at ease and Zion, beware! Revelation 4:1–11, our attention moves from the church on earth to the heavenly vision of God on his throne.

Isaiah 30:27–31:9, God promises to strike the Assyrians and wonderfully redeem his people, and warns those who would seek deliverance from Egypt instead. Revelation 3:1–22, three more messages for three more representative congregations about the actual life of churches in the world during the end times.

Isaiah 30:15–26, the Lord called his people to find rest in him, but they were unwilling, and struggled instead against the Lord. Now they have suffered much, and will have to wait, but he will eventually heal them, from the very wounds he caused. Revelation 2:1–29, letters to four of the seven individual churches, where Jesus compliments or admonishes them. These churches are representative of various kinds of churches that have existed throughout the last days and their strengths and weaknesses.
