Welcome to CrossPolitic’s Midweek Fix. We will be dropping a new 30 minute podcast on Wednesdays as long as the crick don’t rise. Don’t forget you can also catch more shows on Faithwire’s Facebook page on Sunday nights at 7pm PAC time, Direct TV on Friday nights at 8:30pm PAC time, Youtube, and more. Thanks to all our Club members for teaming up to support our show. As we are working on building CrossPolitic into a network, every Club member matters. CRTV and Glenn Beck have over 100,000 club members, and with your help, we think we can do better. So please consider joining our club, and partnering with us to fulfill this mission. Club members get free downloads to our Worldview Shotgun Series, Jenny & Taylor’s latest album, 10% off of our in store merch, and more.
In this Midweek Fix we discussed Ben Sasse’s civics lesson at the Brett Kavanaugh hearing, Colin Kaepernick is the new face for Nike’s Just Do It campaign, Trump’s tweets might make it to billboards in Texas, and the Statement on Social Justice & the Gospel just released this week (we will have more on this in our weekend show).
You can stream live from our website here, or you can find our newest episode in the iTunes store and Google store.
To find out more about our partnerships (limited number) and advertising packages, please email us at [email protected]. Finally, the best way you can help us out is to join our club membership!
1) Gabriel will be traveling this fall to Tennessee, Seattle, Texas, Hawaii, and DC to meet with high schools, participate in various speaking engagements, and participate meetings.
2) Pastor Toby will mostly likely be speaking at a church conference Minneapolis in November. Standby for details.
*We are also scheduling, as our time allows, one CrossPolitic Live show per quarter. If you want to host a live CP show at your conference or special event, please email us at [email protected].
We discuss what culture is and how to communicate through the challenges of a new culture.
We discuss not spending our time and energy to provide but to spend our energy obeying God and trusting him to keep us afloat.
CrossPolitic and Faithwire are teaming up to stream live on Facebook Sunday nights at 7pm Pacific time. Tune in here at 7pm PAC time tonight! Don’t worry if you miss us live, you’ll still be able to download the show on your favorite podcast platform. Also, you can tune in and watch us on Direct TV Friday nights at 8:30pm Pacific time on NRBTV channel.
First, we are working on building CrossPolitic into a network, and so our Club members are huge for us as we desire to utilize CrossPolitic to engage the world, for God’s glory and the Church’s good. CRTV and Glenn Beck have over 100,000 club members, and with your help, we think we can do better. So please consider joining our club, and partnering with us to fulfill this mission. Club members get to download our Worldview Shotgun Series for free,10% off of our in store merch, and more.
Secondly, here is our Amazon Wishlist for those who have been asking. Thanks for your help, and for sending much-needed equipment our way.
Lastly, we want to fight laugh and feast engaging in politics, business, sports, theology, food, recreation, and more. So over the next month or so, we will be adding a couple more shows to our podcast. We now have How to Build a Tent, which is hosted by business consultant Matt Williams. His show will be dropping 15 minute shows daily, on topics regarding christians and business. Just this past month we added Law and Profits, which is hosted by Marcus Pittman. This show will drop every Friday. Finally, we are added Westminster Confession of Funk hosted byJason Farley.
Enjoy the network!
Recently LivingOut.org created a church audit that helps asses if your church is an inclusive church to LGBTQI+/ Christians. Pastor Sumpter wrote two responses to this audit. The first is LivingOut’s Church Audit Dumpster Fire, and the second is Thinking OutLoud: A Revised Church Review for Ministering to Sexual Refugees. We break all this down in the show, so tune in and appreciate any feedback.
In CrossPolitic news we discuss California Assembly’s new bill to provide free abortion pills on public college campuses, a triggered contract for the University of Wisconsin’s literature classroom, and why the Pledge of Allegiance is problematic.
You can stream live from our website here, or you can find our newest episode in the iTunes store and Google store.</
“On this episode of Law and Profits we talk about the dreaded T word, Theocracy.
“On this episode of Law and Profits we talk about the dreaded T word, Theocracy. Which God is better? The God of the Bible, or the God of Venezuela?”
We discuss how pursuing diversity is really discrimination and the good and bad kinds of discrimination.
