Alright we are trying to find ways in our tight schedules to bring you more content.  Occasionally we are going to do a five minute mid-week debrief.  For this first Five Minute Fix, we discuss a recent survey that found 79 percent of Americans are comfortable with a female priest or pastor.  The Blaze picked this story up, and the research came from Barna.  You can find the Blaze article here.

Is the rapture biblical and do our views of the end times matter?  Gary DeMar, author of countless essays, news articles, and more than 30 books, and former president of American Vision, joins us to discuss why the last days matter.  In CrossPolitic news we dive into Trump’s newly released budget, and discuss his cuts along with his increase in military spending.

You can stream live from our website here, or you can find our newest episode in the iTunes store and Google store.

Voddie Baucham subs for us this week.  We have been podcasting for about five months now, and this is our week off. But don’t worry, we did not leave you empty handed.  Voddie Baucham gave a series of lectures at Trinity Reformed Church (Pastor Toby Sumpter’s church).  We are giving you the first of Voddie’s lectures on How Christ Reconciles vs. The Liberal Agenda.  You can find the rest of these lectures on Trinity’s website or app here.  We have some great episodes and interviews coming this month with Sho Baraka, Gary DeMar, Jason Riley, and others.

About CP:

Author Andrew Klavan joins us to discuss how God transformed his life from an agnostic Jewish-intellectual to baptized Christian. We tackle his autobiography The Good Great Thing, which tells how his troubled childhood caused him to live inside the stories in his head and grow up to become an alienated young writer whose disconnection and rage devolved into depression and suicidal breakdown.  God works in troubles, and all these troubles pushed Klavan closer to finding Christ.

In CrossPolitic news we also cover the WNBA, the continued transgendered reductio, and Fox News Tucker Carlson’s interview with senior advisor for the Democratic National Committee Zac Petkanas.

Towards the end of our show, we briefly mentioned Proposal 16 to end abortion in Alabama.  Here is the youtube link for more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2ST0O1npbY  If you are in Alabama please support these efforts.

Lastly please check out our friends worship album My Soul Among the Lions, covering the first ten Psalms.
