Welcome to the Flight Attendant Forum everyone!

Brought to you by Colin and Megan, we welcome all of you who have been riding with us from the very beginning. If you are new here, this is a platform that serves not only all flight attendants, but aviation and travel enthusiasts from all over the world. The FAF is a place that we created to hopefully inspire a new traveler or create a bond with a fellow flight attendant, knowing they are not alone in the day to day BS we have to deal with. 

This week my sister was in town and she was elated to hop on the podcast and discuss a wide range of topics, some things travel related, and some things from our childhood. 
Next week, Megan and I will get back to the all encompassing travel topics that we hope to keep you interested and learning.

Welcome BACK to the FFF!

Megan and I are super stoked to bring this episode as we are joined by a very very special guest on this installment of the forum! 
Our wonderful crew member was gracious enough to share her story on how she got started as a flight attendant as well as what it has been like patrolling the skies throughout her short career! Megan and I are forever grateful to have met someone as awesome as her.

Welcome BACK to the FFF!

Megan and I are thrilled to back in fold and hear to resume our duties as two flight attendants just trying to share what it is like to be traversing the skies and hopefully one day, we will get to have one of YOU on our flights!

Today, we took some time to catch up, briefly cover a few small topics before taking a deeper dive into how our schedules work and how different they are from someone who works a 9-5. Moreover, we gloss over the advantages and disadvantages we have when we bid for our schedules. Tomorrow Megan and I begin a 3 day trip and we look forward to speaking to guys next week as we get the FFF back on track!

Welcome BACK to the Flight Attendant Forum!

Thank ALL of YOU for sticking with us as we continue to build out this platform and serve as a beacon for all things travel and a resource for all things aviation related. We are both so happy that YOU our listeners have found respite here when you need a good laugh, or a travel tip for your next vacation. This is only the beginning!

This week Megan and i discuss the vital importance of caring not only for yourself but for the people around you in the best capacity that you can. Mental health amongst our demographic is certainly something that is overlooked and needs to be further highlighted. Our job can be littered with loneliness and it is an inherent challenge to fill the downtime that we have so much of. If you or anyone is suffering from any sort of depression or anxiety or just need to talk to someone, that can make monumental changes for the better. It’s ok to be not ok and sometimes I think it’s important to remind ourselves of that. Moreover, we covered what it is like working during spring break, dressing up (or down) when traveling, and a couple of other tidbits along the way.

We hope you enjoy this new episode and we look forward as always giving you a behind the scenes look into our lives  and so many that traverse the skies on a daily basis!
