Reality tv. American Idol. Endless pedaling. Green Apples.  That's right folks you'll get all of that and MORE in Black Mirror's second episode.  The whole cast brought some heat and we loved this ep even more the second time through.  Though it's not quite as dark as National Anthem, it still packs one helluva punch. *“In a world where people's lives consist of riding exercise bikes to gain credits, Bing tries to help a woman get on to a singing competition show.....”*Starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jessica Brown Findlay*TV-MA | 1h 2min | Drama, Sci-Fi, Thriller | Episode aired 11 December 2011*#BlackMirror #Netflix #moviereviews #Flixin6 #BBC*Follow us on insta!Jerm: https://www.instagram.com/jermz1138/Mike: https://www.instagram.com/naturezvalley/Cass: https://www.instagram.com/cassidy_ryyan/

What a fun ride!  Far From Home was the happy go lucky scoop of sorbet we desperately needed after the events of Avengers: Endgame.  All around great performances, killer story and hey, we had some beef here and there, but overall it was a blast and we loved the flick.  We had first-time guest Pedro Lopez on the show alongside return guest Jason Gray and both of these gentleman brought the fire with them!

Wow, what a shit show.  The latest Netflix Original starring Jennifer Anniston and Adam Sandler fails in just about every way possible.  Horrible chemistry, lackluster performances and the silliest god damn screenplay we’ve seen outside a first year film program.

We're bringing it all the way back to the beginning.  Charlie Brooker's introduction to the hit series Black Mirror doesn't hold back one bit and we LOVE IT.*“Prime Minister Michael Callow faces a shocking dilemma when Princess Susannah, a much-loved member of the Royal Family, is kidnapped....”*Starring Rory Kinnear, Lindsay Duncan, and Donald Sumpter*TV-MA | 44min | Drama, Sci-Fi, Thriller | Episode aired 4 December 2011*#BlackMirror #Netflix #moviereviews #Flixin6 #BBC*Follow us on insta!Jerm: https://www.instagram.com/jermz1138/Mike: https://www.instagram.com/naturezvalley/Cass: https://www.instagram.com/cassidy_ryyan/

FINALLY! Netflix drops a worthy sci-fi flick in our laps with the well-rounded and highly enjoyable "I Am Mother". We all had a blast and highly recommend the feature-film directorial debut from Grant Sputore. *“A teenage girl is raised underground by a kindly robot "Mother" -- designed to repopulate the earth following the extinction of mankind. But their unique bond is threatened when an inexplicable stranger arrives with alarming news...”*Starring Clara Rugaard, Rose Byrne, and Hillary Swank*TV-14 | 1h 53min | Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi | 7 June 2019 (USA)*#IamMother #NetflixOriginal #moviereviews #Flixin6 *Follow us on insta!Jerm: https://www.instagram.com/jermz1138/Mariah: https://www.instagram.com/mariahmartel/Cass: https://www.instagram.com/cassidy_ryyan/Mark: https://www.instagram.com/actionmark/

The third and final installment of Black Mirror Season 5, Rachel Jack and Ashley Too, was easily the most disappointing episode thus far.  The first and second act instilled some hope that we'd finally get "black mirrored" at the episode's conclusion, but despite the promising build the third act still flopped.  Hard.  Myley Cyrus isn't where we're targeting our upset...she did a fine job with what she was given.  There were scenes in which we thought she brought some serious heat...but there were scenes that were flat out embarrassing to watch.  The call back to "White Christmas" via Cookie technology was as awesome as it was wasted, making the conclusion of the episode that much more painful.  We COULD have had such a wicked fun time, but instead we were slapped in the face with social commentary we've been consistently berated by for the last decade.  Here's to hoping for the return of raw and powerful episodes in Season 6 :-(

Well they can't all be winners. This was definitely a major disappointment. What started as a great concept certain to end in darkness fell extremely flat and had 0 payoff. Nothing happened. A perfect example of "coulda been great but wasn't anywhere close" Charlie Brooker is holding back on his fifth season of Black Mirror especially with this episode, Smithereens.

Charlie Brooker kicks of his fifth season of Netflix’s show, Black Mirror with Striking Vipers! **Damn it feels good to be home. Though it didn’t pack the same punch as Entire History of You or National Anthem, it had a point and made it well. Anthony Mackie did a great job as did the entire cast, and overall the show had a great feel to it.  A wonderful perspective on the addictive tendencies we have towards social media and the digital landscape as a whole.  What does it say about relationships in the future? In 2019?

The only way we're satisfied with our lives is if we get to live in a reality other than this one.

This is the quintessential pulpy action flick. It's jam-packed with constant gun-fu shenanigans and the plot requires little to no attention to wrap your head around. I have no idea what the official body count is, but damn it's got to be up there. It wasn't without flaws, obviously, but overall we had a blast.

“Super-assassin John Wick is on the run after killing a member of the international assassin's guild, and with a $14 million price tag on his head - he is the target of hit men and women everywhere..”

Well gang here it is, the final conclusion episode on Black Mirror before Season 5 drops!  Season 4 was tough to rate.  Hang the DJ ranked supreme for us all, and stands out as one of the all-time best of the series.  USS Callister had an awkward sensibility and ultimate shock value in the end, but clunked around in between.  Overall, season 4 neither blew us away nor disappointed, and generally serves as a comfortable placeholder between season 3 and Bandersnatch.
