5 mercenaries plan to rob a narco boss in the Amazon jungle and things don't go as planned...

Cass was FEELIN this movie! The newest Netflix Original stars Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal. We loved the cast, liked the story, and overall recommend the flick. The film was directed by JC Chandor who brought us A Most Violent Year and All is Lost, both of which are AWESOME. The action was definitely a highlight and had great sense of realism. Let us know in the comments whether or not you agree!

Mariah Martel joined us in the studio for one of our favorite Netflix Original Series since Stranger Things starring Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, and Aiden Gallagher. It scored pretty high for all of us and we can't wait to rewatch and spend a year in angst until Season 2. #flixin6 #NetflixOriginals #NetflixReviews

The worlds first successful skateboarding feat film follows Stevie, a thirteen-year-old in 1990s-era Los Angeles who spends his summer navigating between his troubled home life and a group of new friends that he meets at a Motor Avenue skate shop. Rated R | 1h 25min | Comedy, Drama | A24.  We had a blast talking about Jonah Hill's 2018 masterpiece, Mid90's. Easily one of the best films of 2018 and probably the only great film about skate culture, Mid90's earned A's around the horn at Flix in 6. We aimed for 18-20 minutes of video and ended up shooting about an hour and a half, that's how you know it was a damn good movie.  #flixin6 #mid90's #skateboarding #A24 Follow us on insta: https://www.instagram.com/jermz1138/ https://www.instagram.com/ymmotvstommy/ https://www.instagram.com/chuckgerkin/

Well folks this week it's just Michael and Jeremy in the studio and we brought two picks that couldn't be further apart.  Michael brought the Sci-fi channel's The Magicians and broke down why this show holds up and maintains its binge-worthy status.  Jeremy watched the documentary Period. End of Sentence, a film that explores menstruation and its stigma in India.  Despite its brief runtime of only about 30 minutes, it packs an emotional punch and concludes with a sense of victory and empowerment.  Enjoy the episode and have a great weekend!

We decided to switch it up this week and come at you fresh with 4 whole movies reviewed!  We dove deep into IO, Taylor Swift: Reputation, Fyre, and Alex Strangelove.  We had a blast with this new format, even though Tom wasn't here, and we hope ya'll enjoy it too.  Let us know if you dig it and we'll keep bringing you multiple flicks every week ;)

This week we tackled "The Kindergarten Teacher" starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gael Garcia Bernal.  What a great flick.  We had a blast diving deep into the psychology behind our deranged yet disturbingly mild main character, Lisa (Gyllenhaal).

The crew reviews Lennart Ruff's "The Titan", the 2018 Netflix Original.  Man was this a bad movie.  We rip into it pretty good while simultaneously pretending we understand astrophysics and science/space travel.  We don't, but it was fun anyway.  If you've seen this flick already, we're sorry.  If you haven't steer clear!

Holy smokes, what a wild ride.  In the first of its kind "choose your own adventure" thriller from Black Mirror, Bandersnatch melts our brains and made our night simultaneously.  We're so excited to launch our Podcast with this episode, Charlie Brooker and Netflix gave us a whole mess of things to talk about so it's meaty.  We'll be getting back to our roots and reviewing all previous episodes of Black Mirror in future episodes of Flix In 6, so check back in a couple weeks!
