A monster Category 4 storm is moments away from making landfall in Florida. At this moment it is too late for folks along the coast to evacuate. Officials warn that the winds and the storm surge will be catastrophic. In some areas the word officials are using is “unsurvivable.” Hurricane Helene could be the strongest storm on record for the Big Bend region.
