    Good morning.

Today’s mix opens with a few new ambient pieces by Alaskan Tapes, Kenneth James Gibson, and RIOPY. We play one track from Belle Chen’s new Ravel in the Forest meditative rework album. Then we’re listening to electronic instrumentals from Relaxer and Midland before delving into ambient techno by Purelink (a remix of Eden Aurelius) and Satoshi Tomiie. Toward the back half there’s upbeat jazz and house music by Ideophone, Hitomi Nishiyama, and Function. There’s a Lil Wayne instrumental before Sonny Khoeblal takes us home. We hope you enjoy.

We include a few new instrumental finds from Alexandra Whittingham, Xisco Rojo, Hania Rani, and Fera. A ballad from Jackie Gleason closes us out. We hope you enjoy.

Today’s mix opens with “Hollywood Dream Trip” by Syrinx, an instrumental that to us expresses the arrival of fall. We play two tracks from Alaskan Tapes’ new EP, Delirium Hums. Then some newish ambient music by Metric System 1981, Jon Hopkins, and Shida Shahabi. We took two tracks from from Gigi Masin’s recent playlist for Herb Sundays: “Climbing” and “Egrets (Live)”. Today’s mix opens atypically with Otto Benson’s guitar-led “Another Long Day.” We proceed with “Parade” from Hayes Bradley’s fantastic new album Recommence, and then excerpt two long tracks from AJA’s Ajasphères. There’s a novel instrumental jam from Argo Noff & Take Care, and then an epic composition from Toronja. Then we play through great jazz instrumentals by Mehldau, Nubya Garcia, Fantastic Man, and Greg Foat. We play something more upbeat by Al Wootton, DJ Sneak, and Ulysses Owens Jr. before OMA takes us out with a cover of a MF DOOM instrumental. We hope you enjoy.

Today’s mix opens with two ambient pieces by French artist AJA, followed by ambiences from Brian Eno and Kara-Lis Coverdale. We play David Pajo’s guitar cover of Arvo Pärt’s “Spiegel im Spiegel” as featured on last week’s Ambient Country episode with Pajo. Then two Bill Frisell guitar pieces, followed by Kuniko’s percussion interpretation of Steve Reich’s “Electric Counterpoint.” Sam Gendel and Junior Boys have two ethereal beats, essentially, and then we revisit a classic Boards of Canada track. There’s a Velvet Underground instrumental mix we randomly found. Greg Foat, John Tesh, and Foam and Sand wind us down before Vitamin String Quartet’s cover of Radiohead ends the mix. We hope you enjoy.
