Good morning.
Today’s mix follows a different order than most Flow State mixes. Whereas the usual mix accelerates from ambient to dance – mirroring the progression of our Monday to Friday recommendations – this mix ebbs and flows like a sine wave. We begin with Dario Marianelli’s standout track from the V for Vendetta score, “Evey Reborn.” We then go through some instrumental favorites from Photay, The Beatles, Santo & Johnny, Stella Phonic, and Marisa Anderson. There are a couple live jazz recordings from the newly released Oscar Pettiford Memorial Concert performance from 1960. We wind down with Bach, Bond, and a longform Can-like new jam from Water Damage. We hope you enjoy.

We play two tracks from Nathan Micay’s recent soundtrack for Time Bomb Y2K on HBO. There’s a Solange instrumental from 2002 which was produced by The Neptunes. We wrap with a recently released 1977 recording of a Can live jam. We hope you enjoy.

We revisit standout dance music from Powder, 2652, and Yetsuby. We wind down with Rich Ruth and Luciano Michelini – the latter composed the Curb overture, and the track is his solo piano rendition of it. We hope you enjoy.
