On this episode I had the privilege of chatting with a friend, who not only opened my eyes to the mental health world but who also was willing to share their journey, as they learned to navigate life with a Mother who was diagnosed with a mental illness. Sincere opens up about the residue left behind from being a child of someone who was deemed "Crazy" I had to break this episode down into multiple parts because that just how good and complex this episode was. Hey beautiful people, on this episode, I talk about the 7 stages of grief and my experiences around them. There has been a lot of death not only within my community but also around the world. Death is for sure an experience we all have in common, fortunately, I was able to attend grief counseling when needed. However, I also know that not everyone has access to those sorts of resources. So, if you're reading this, I hope that you're here to not only move towards your healing but to also hold a moment of silence with me. Be sure to monitor your triggers around grief and if you're comfortable enough, let's talk through them. Sometimes healing takes a village!
