Cs: Na Karlově mostě bylo rušno.
En: The Karlův most was bustling.
Cs: Lidé přecházeli tam a zpátky, někteří si fotili, jiní se jen tak procházeli.
En: People were crossing back and forth; some were taking photos, while others were just strolling.
Cs: Bylo Velikonoční pondělí a Praha byla plná turistů i místních.
En: It was Easter Monday, and Praha was full of tourists as well as locals.
Cs: Zdeněk, sedmnáctiletý student střední školy, se opatrně proplétal davem.
En: Zdeněk, a seventeen-year-old high school student, carefully wove through the crowd.
Cs: Potřeboval čas na přemýšlení.
En: He needed time to think.
Cs: Zpráva o rozvodu jeho rodičů ho zaskočila.
En: The news of his parents' divorce had caught him off guard.
Cs: Cítil se zmatený a nejistý.
En: He felt confused and uncertain.

En: "Zdeňku?" a voice called from behind him.
Cs: Byla to Petra, jeho spolužačka.
En: It was Petra, his classmate.
Cs: Zdeněk se obrátil a uviděl ji stát s úsměvem několik kroků od něj.
En: Zdeněk turned around and saw her standing with a smile a few steps away.
Cs: Petra vypadala klidně a přátelsky.
En: Petra looked calm and friendly.
Cs: Ačkoli si ve škole byli blízcí, nikdy si o osobních věcech nevyprávěli.
En: Although they were close at school, they had never talked about personal matters.
Cs: "Ahoj, Petro," odpověděl Zdeněk trochu překvapeně.
En: "Hi, Petro," Zdeněk replied, somewhat surprised.
Cs: "Co tady děláš?" zeptala se Petra.
En: "What are you doing here?" Petra asked.
Cs: "Jen přemýšlím," přiznal se.
En: "Just thinking," he admitted.
Cs: "To vypadá na důležitou věc," usmála se Petra povzbudivě.
En: "That sounds like something important," Petra smiled encouragingly.
Cs: Její přítomnost působila útěšně, byla jako nádech čerstvého vzduchu.
En: Her presence was comforting, like a breath of fresh air.
Cs: Zdeněk krátce vyprávěl o tom, co se doma děje.
En: Zdeněk briefly talked about what was happening at home.
Cs: Cítil, jak se mu ulevuje, jakmile to vyslovil nahlas.
En: He felt relief as soon as he spoke it out loud.
Cs: Petra ho pozorně poslouchala a přitom příležitostně přikývla.
En: Petra listened attentively, occasionally nodding.
Cs: Neodsuzovala ani neradila, jen naslouchala.
En: She neither judged nor offered advice, just listened.
Cs: "Víš, že nemusíš všechno řešit sám," řekla Petra tiše.
En: "You know you don’t have to handle everything alone," Petra said quietly.
Cs: "Máš kolem lidi, kteří ti chtějí pomoci.
En: "You have people around who want to help you.
Cs: Jako třeba já."
En: Like me."
Cs: Zdeňkovi to dodalo odvahu.
En: That gave Zdeněk courage.
Cs: "Máš pravdu.
En: "You're right.
Cs: Myslím, že jsem na to zapomněl," řekl, pocítil nečekanou lehkost.
En: I think I forgot that," he said, feeling unexpected lightness.
Cs: Petra se usmála a navrhla, aby pokračovali v procházce městem.
En: Petra smiled and suggested they continue walking through the city.
Cs: Zdeněk s tím rád souhlasil.
En: Zdeněk happily agreed.
Cs: Jak kráčeli dál po mostě, cítil se lehčí.
En: As they walked further along the bridge, he felt lighter.
Cs: Rozhodl se zaměřit na věci, které může ovlivnit: Na studium, přátelství, svou budoucnost.
En: He decided to focus on the things he could control: his studies, friendships, and his future.
Cs: Když se most za nimi začal vzdalovat, Zdeněk se ještě jednou ohlédl.

Cs: A tak, s Petrou po boku, našel Zdeněk na mostě nejen odpovědi, ale i sílu jít dál.
En: And so, with Petra by his side, Zdeněk found not only answers on the bridge but also the strength to move forward.
