The fools discuss the second movie in The Hobbit trilogy: The Desolation of Smaug.  Will the fools like it as much as the first entry? Will Jacob have finally watched prior to podcasting? Jacob's getting surgery on his eye.  We listen to the new intro.  After 45 minutes we discuss the lord of the rings a little bit.  Also, Jacob backs out of the sober october swimming challenge.  Basically Tibs and Cooper try to save Jacob as best we can.

Jacob maintains his eye stye and adds a cauliflower ear.  Cooper hits his daily macros with lipsmacking on mic asmr.  Tibs can be heard, and is in trouble with his girlfriend.  The gang blows of LOTR and spends half the time reading riddles from websites, lying, and claiming they came up with them.  Listen up.

Jacob forces Jon to call in for this episode, Cooper gets a new Mic, and Bilbo goes to Rivendell.  We also go into the Goblin Wars, and try to unravel the history of the Dwarves.  

In this episode, the boys pick a title and discuss chapters 1-2 of The Hobbit.  And by discuss, I mean get way off topic and focus on the problems of antisemitism plaguing the Darwven populations of Arda.
