Previous to the Chicago Mothman & Winged Humanoid reports and investigation, I experienced an encounter with a similar red-eyed winged anomaly in South Central Pennsylvania in October 1988. I have written and talked about the incident. I have also wondered if the Chicago Mothman and the Conewago Phantom are the same species.

I receive many reports of flying cryptid sightings and encounters, mostly from witnesses in North America. However, occasionally, an international event comes my way. The big question remains: What are people observing?
