Focused Fire Chat, a Destiny Lore Podcast

Episode 80 brings Blue, Green, and Justin back together to dive into the lore surrounding the subclass often associated with vamiprism of the Light, the Voidwalkers. Forgive Blue for his rants on vampirism and the potential connectivenes implied within this description of the Light - he gets excited when these topics are 'allowed' in conversations. As with the other subclass episodes, while there isn't a large amount of Grimoire cards specific to this particular topic, the number of extra points of information are high - and this allows a very comprehensive view into the subclass in question for this episode. Just don't stare into the abyss of the Void for too long...you never know what might be staring back.

Our 13th installment of the Extra Lore series brings Blue, Green, Justin, and special guest co-hosts InferMage & DJ Kantrip together to explore the wacky world of the Portal series - which proves to be something of an adventure in and of itself. Gear up for some laughs and fond memories as the team opens one portal after another through this crazy series - ultimately trying to get all the basic plot points together for anyone intrigued by the odd sense of humor that these particular games offer. Just remember what to do when life gives you lemons, everyone - make combustible lemons!

Episode 79 brings Blue, Green, Mel, and Justin back together to dive into the lore surrounding those quick reacting figures of legend, the Gunslingers. Granted, we keep wanting to talk about Cayde and just how awesome Hunters are in general (with a bit of a side bar on the intricate details of the knife design and a bit of a small tangent from Blue about the Dark Tower). Similar to the Sunsinger episode, there aren't a large number of Grimoire cards to pull into the conversation - though that doesn't mean that there isn't a good amount of information buried in other aspects of the lore and from other areas outside of the game.

This special episode brings Blue, Green, Justin, and returning special guest co-host, Damoel together to chat about the massive update to the lore for Destiny that we received this week as a part of the Age of Triumph update. Get ready - it's a bit of a crazy train. From hilarious searches with Cayde to some hefty implications (and outright confirmations), there is a ton of information that the team touches on. Warning though - this is just a brief summary of the new information! Blue will be adding options to the weekly poll starting this weekend for a more in-depth exploration of the new information and a recap of how all the stories stand now that the conclusion for them is upon us.

Episode 78 brings Blue, Green, and Justin together to dive into the lore surrounding the Radiant Sunsinger subclass - and to chat a bit about mythology and Justin's love of immolation (it'll make sense, believe us). While only haveing a few Grimoire cards to really discuss for this particular subclass, the team pulls in a fair amount of information discussed in the chat room this past week - from a discussion on phoenixes to the recommendation of an old Disney educational film by Blue. We hope you enjoy it and be sure to send in your thoughts (Blue and Green speak to this at the end of the episode)!

Just a quick note from BlueCrew86 to everyone.

Episode 77 brings Blue, Green, and Justin together to dive into the lore surrounding the death-obsessed Thanatonauts, something which ultimately resulted in a philosophical discussion that Justin won via comparing everything to the Lion King. So that happened. Which of course broke Blue - but the team did manage to get through the majority of the information available to us currently within game. Granted the chat only covered the basics (there are tons of notes that Blue has on this topic, but Green made sure to keep him in line and he did his best to not bore everyone between the singing of the Circle of Life by Justin).

Episode 76 brings Blue, Justin, and special guest co-host TheLegendBlue (no, Justin did not let the chance to confuse everyone by referring to both as "Blue" pass him by) together to explore the available lore that we have about the last weapon archetype, our Heavy weapons. The team starts off and immediately finds out how deep a rabbit hole can go - with a few puns (is anyone surprised...honestly?) thrown in for good measure to keep the chat off the rails as much as possible. Sit back, prepare yourself a good drink (if you're like Pens and BlueCrew), and enjoy the descent into the madness of lore discussion with the Punderlord of the Destiny Community.

Episode 75 brings Blue, Green, Mel, and returning special guest co-host PurpleChimera to explore the available lore that we have about the current Special weapons with the Exotic classification. The team dives into the 15 weapon cards - with a few deviations from Blue (surprise!) to break up the highly entertaining chatter. Be sure to check out this week's mindmp for information and trivia (again, huge thank you to RYNO-666 for helping compile everything on that for these items)!

Our 12th installment of the Extra Lore series brings Blue, Green, Justin, and special guest co-host demigod257 back together to try and make sense of the convoluted labyrinth of a story that is the Kingdom Heart series. Get ready, it's a doozy (and not just because of the impracticality of a keyblade...which Blue refuses to be okay with). Green and demi try to make the presentation of information as black and white as they can...but some of these concepts are, by their very nature, unlockable without the key of knowledge (yes. I did just do that. Enjoy it.)
