Focused Fire Chat, a Destiny Lore Podcast

The fourth installment of our Behind the Scenes series gave us an opportunity to sit down with Guardian Outpost (Dave) and KMagic101 (Kevin) to chat about the questions that our Discord chat had about streaming - as well as just getting a chance to hear how they both approach the challenges that this aspect of content creation presents. We truly enjoyed the opportunity and we're pretty sure that y'all will as well - so be sure to turn up the volume and get ready for some good insight into the streaming aspect of our great community!

Episode 74 brings Blue, Green, and Justin back together to discuss the Exotic Primary weapons that our Guardians currently have access to within the Destiny universe - and to make fun of Justin (who has a really odd habit this show of surprising people with a soundboard he found). The team dives into all 25 weapons this week, trying their best to get all the information that the community discussed (which we're sure we've missed some of it - you guys were amazing!). Be sure to check out the mindmap for this week's information and trivia (provided by Ryno-666 again) as well.

Episode 73 brings Blue, Green, Justin, and returning special guest co-host demigod257 together to discuss the various inspirations for the Traveler that can be seem from various historic mythologies throughout the world. Prepare yourself for an enjoyable jaunt through the rabbit holes of tangent-filled jokes and even a special sneaking snek ending from Justin on this episode!

Episode 72 brings Blue, Green, and Justin back together to explore the available information that we currently have on the exotic armor available to the Titan class of Guardians. As with the Warlock and Hunter armor epsidoes, there isn't any Grimoire cards to base our discussion off of, but don't worry - between some great stories of mail-theft and a few random stops to look into some of the more obvious rabbit holes for any spinfoil, the team is able to find quite a bit to discuss.

Episode 71 brings Blue, Justin, Mel, and returning guest co-host, coedbeast together to explore the available information that we currently have on the exotic armor available to the Warlock class of Guardians. As with the Hunter armor, while there isn't necessarily an overabundance of information to be found within the Grimoire iteself, the triva connections to information outside of the game world of Destiny are astoundingly interesting - and honestly there are plenty of Rabbit Holes to get lost in while walking through even this limited sampling of gear that is available to this one class of Guardians. Hope you enjoy the descent into madness - and we promise, we were pretty nice to the Warlock guest who was kind enough to come out of the library long enough to talk to us.

Our 11th installment of the Extra Lore series brings Blue, Green, and special guest co-host N64Josh together to explore the Legend of Zelda series. There are a few twists and turns down the story of how exactly this series, more than any other, affected Blue and Josh's love for video games - but don't worry, we explain the biggest area of confusion. Link is not Zelda. Don't worry - we got this!

Episode 70 brings Blue, Justin, and returning guest co-host Grneyedmusiklvr together to explore the available information that we currently have on the exotic armor available to the Hunter class of Guardians. Surprisingly, while there's not necessarily an overabundance of Grimoire information within Destiny on the armor, there are a ton of trivia connections (and opinions, in the case of Justin) for each of the items discussed. So prepare yourself - this one was a bit of a fun one to record...and allowed the team to delve a bit further into spinfoil territory than even they usually go (especially Blue...when Justin wasn't arguing about the importance of cloaks).

Episode 69 brings Blue, Justin, and returning guest co-host, Kachine together to chat about what it's like to be a gamer and a parent - something that some of our community has chatted with us about in the past. Get ready for a somewhat off topic episode (thanks to the community for the selection of "Yes" yet again - we'll probably see that back in the rotation here later this year) about the joys and challenges of being a parent in the modern world, where gaming has (thankfully, for those of us who are gamers) become more of a everyday staple in our lives.

Episode 68 brings Blue, Justin, and special guest co-host grneyedmusiklvr together to chat about everyone's favorite technicolored warmongers, the Future War Cult. Get ready for a bit of a jaunt through time, as many records found concerning the FWC are from nothing other than the mysterious machine which drove so many to madness. And granted, Blue takes a bit of a dive when it comes to explaining the connections present within the works of Teilhard and some of the intricacies of the Omega Point in regards to their connection to the philosophies of the FWC.

Episode 67 brings Blue and Justin together to chat explore the information that we have pertaining to the Vex themed strikes within the current Destiny universe. Get ready - there's a bit of discussion on the relative nature of how we experience time, the consequences and concepts of temporal manipulation, as well as a pretty detailed discussion of the make up of the Vex Axis Minds and their various types of functionality. And Blue uses Google to make sure that they get a word right - much to the surprise of Justin and the chat.
