Today, U.S. District Judge David Hittner sentenced Sims to life in prison. Sims was further ordered to pay $1575 in restitution to a minor victim. In handing down the sentence, Judge Hittner stated Sims was a threat to society. The court also noted he had received several letters of support, one in particular claiming Sims was a positive role model in the community. The government contended Sims has not made any contribution to society and that he and other members of The Sauce Factory waive around firearms, large amounts of cash and glorify a materialistic lifestyle built on the backs of sexually-exploited women. Sims will also be required to register as a sex offender.

MEMBERS: Jaimian Sims, Miles Smith, Albert Walker Mondane "Sauce Walka", Randarius Jaroy Ray, "Rizzo" Michael Cordell Henry "Sancho Saucy", Deszmann Broussard "Lucciani Saucy", Anya Wright "Anistasia", Shawnee Elizabeth Burke "Austyn Monroe"

Darny Van's residence. On that evening, several family members and friends gathered at the residence, including: Matthew Van, Thavin Van, Trinity Van, Asia Van, Kenneth Flenory "KJ," and Anthony Roberts. Around 8:45 p.m., Darny heard the doorbell and answered the door. Three men pushed their way into the house. The assailants allegedly were Hubbard, Willie Carter, and Stelman Joseph. One of the men, described as a tall, slender, light-skinned black man (later determined to be Carter), pointed a gun at Darny.
