We recorded this episode in September of 2019 and then life got crazy and we forgot about it and never touched it. OOPS. We finally edited it and here it is. Enjoy this trip back in time when we talk about the lovely (and dry and hot and confusing) season that is FALL, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Halloween Costumes, Maggie's dream to write a Netflix Christmas movie, the "sorry to this man" phenomenon, and of course we journey through a jillion tangents along the way. Oh- and Maggie has a big announcement!! Enjoy this almost long lost episode....we missed you!!
We’re back! It’s been a long (oops) hiatus, but we’re excited to be back and chatting with you lovely listeners. This week Maggie introduces us to Stroopwafel McFlurries (yum!), shares her new self-care practice, and tells us about her recent glamping trip. Sarah shares her new fave concealer, and her unexpected love for the Jonas Brothers (who knew?). Play along with us as we play both Keds Up AND Courtney Sox and Sarah Jessica Parka (what article of clothing is Angela Lansbury?). Then we Google Ryan Phillippe in a wet T-shirt (cuz duh) and stan our forever hero Michelle Obama. We finish off today’s episode with a new segment in which we imagine vision boards for our upcoming week. Join us, play with us, visualize with us. We missed you.
This week we talk about the impact (trauma?) of childhood team sports, Sarah graduates with her Master's Degree, Maggie's son has got a keen sense of fashion (like his mother), and Sarah's imminent summer break (#teacherlife)....And we do all of this while eating submarine sandwiches and drinking bubbly rose. This week was also a big week in pronunciation for us because we found out how to correctly pronounce "gyro" and "Cannes" and we will share our findings with you lucky listeners. Speaking of Cannes, the Cannes Film festival just happened, so to celebrate both our Dope or Nope and Lewk of the Week segments are Cannes themed. Turns out, we don't know much about France at all, but what we lack in factual information, we make up for in random French-adjacent knowledge. And finally, we were both greatly inspired by Drunk History this week and can't wait to share our inspo with you all. We love you, thanks for being here, enjoy!
In life updates this week, Maggie talks about a family trip back east and her new career as a backup singer. Sarah (of course) continues fangirling over the Sprouse twins and discusses the difficulty of boring (yet necessary) self-care. Maggie and Sarah both confess to not watching Game of Thrones (don't @ us), and equally obsess over two new baby boys: Amy Schumer’s and Meghan Markle’s! Eek! Cute! Then the rest of the episode is dedicated to dissecting and categorizing Met Gala fashions. To be honest, we struggle with designer names, we accidentally mistake Selma Hayek’s husband for her designer, and frankly we don’t really know what the Met Gala is, but we’re here and we’re talking about it. We’ve created yearbook-like superlatives to categorize our faves. Listen along (and if you’ve got a device on hand definitely Google along) as we discuss the good, the better, and the meh. The theme this year was "Camp" and what a theme it was. Finally we introduce a new segment called "Lewk of the Week" where Sarah and Maggie each choose their favorite celeb fashion lewk from the last week and share it with you beauties. This ep is fashion heavy, so buckle up, bbs.
Yay! We finally got our shit together and created our first ever Short Short Episode! Short Shorts are mini episodes where we play Dope or Nope with someone who is neither Maggie nor Sarah. Today we have our first ever Short Short guest: Maggie's adorable and intelligent niece Josie. Enjoy the world through the eyes of a 6 year old, everyone. It's cute as hell.

Today Maggie discusses scary kid stuff (everyone is safe and sound- Phew!!), and then we keep if fluffy and discuss everything from BBQ Sauce to Sarah’s new obsession: Riverdale (don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it!). This week’s Dope or Nope theme is 90’s Anthems, and then we just keep the 90’s theme going throughout all of today's games. Oh- and speaking of the 90's we play MASH...remember that game, you guys?! Don’t worry, this is definitely an episode for people with all levels of 90s knowledge will enjoy.

We're back again with so many tangents we barely made it through today's game of Dope or Nope. Shit gets real as we talk about our life updates. We discuss everything from breaking the diet mentality, race (what?!), parents dating new people, and the tragedy of trying to buy a damn home in Marin County. But don't worry- it gets lighter....Join us as we argue over whether it's called a "cheese stick" or "string cheese", make up songs, eat birthday cake flavored Oreos, and play a "10 Things I Hate About You" themed game of Keds Up (RIP Heath)! Also, if you've been wondering about the Sunbasket experiment that Sarah has been trying...there's an update (Is that interesting or boring as hell? Oh well, it's here anyway!). Ok enjoy. Rate and review us. Love you all!
You guys, this week Sarah and Maggie go on a damn tangent about every single topic ever. So just enjoy the ride. Some things you can find on today's episode: animal cracker drama, double wides, retinol-uglies, awards show fashion (LUPITA!), Pen15 appreciation, and admissions of our guiltiest pleasures. Come along with us and play Dope or Nope, Keds Up, and listen to Sarah talk for approximately 100000 hours about her post-shower skin care (eye roll). Yay!
This week we tried something different and recorded at night (Ooooooooo fancy!). We eat tacos, and then discuss concealer, casseroles, and the panic of free time. In a new segment called "Important Questions" we discuss the best way to wear a beanie (obviously like Colin Farrell). We also tested new perfumes (more fanciness!) in a poorly titled segment called "Perfume Testing with Maggie and Sarah" and let you know which ones you should invest in. We've got another game of Dope or Nope with a brand new theme (Self Care!), and finally our Magical Thing segment is pretty damn magical this week. *chills*
In this episode Maggie and Sarah discuss some real life stuff... like buying a home, deciding to have children, body image, and the ultimate sign that we are getting old: lactose intolerance. Don't worry, we also play Dope or Nope (This week's theme is being 13 years old) and introduce a new segment called Magical Things. Come play with us and enjoy the sounds of us sipping coffee, Sarah's lingering cough, and us fangirling over Pub Mix.
