  • 45 years of proof… and then everything changed (BONUS OFFER INSIDE)

What if the thing standing between you and lasting weight loss isn't a lack of discipline?

What if you've simply been trying to solve the wrong problem?

In today's episode, I'm sharing the story of Lynne, a former Foodie to Freedom member who spent decades believing she would never be able to lose weight and keep it off.

When Lynne joined the group, she described herself as being in "dark despair." She felt completely out of control with food, was ashamed of her body, and was hiding from the world.

She had 45 years of evidence that she would always end up right back where she started.

But after just six months inside Foodie to Freedom, something had changed.

Not because life suddenly became stress-free.

Not because she learned how to follow a stricter diet.

And not because she finally found enough willpower.

She learned how to understand her emotional eating, challenge the stories she had been telling herself, and stop treating herself like she was the problem.

    Ready to start?

If you've been listening to Lynne's story and thinking, "I want this, but I'm not sure I can do it," this is a really good time to take that first step.

Right now, I'm offering 3 months of Foodie to Freedom for $225 when you pay upfront.

That's three months of coaching, support, the full Foodie to Freedom course, the private podcast, our community, and access to me and the other women doing this work alongside you.

And you don't have to wait until January.

In fact, I'd much rather you start now and learn how to navigate the holidays without needing to start over when January rolls around.

This offer is available through Monday, October 5th.

If you've been on the fence, take Lynne's advice—and take the next step.

  • PCOS, Food Noise & GLP-1s: What Changed for Amy Larson

Have you ever felt like you're doing everything "right" but your body just isn't cooperating?

You're eating better. You're exercising. You're trying to be disciplined. And yet the hunger, cravings, weight, and constant thoughts about food seem to have a mind of their own.

In this episode, I'm joined by Amy Larson for a very honest conversation about her personal experience with PCOS, metabolic health, intense hunger and cravings, food noise, GLP-1s, peptides, and emotional eating.

Amy shares what life was like before she understood what was happening in her body, the things she tried that didn't work, and the turning point that finally helped her understand that this wasn't simply a matter of needing more willpower.

We talk about what changed when she addressed the biological side of hunger—including her experience with a GLP-1—and what didn't magically disappear along with the physical cravings.

    Because here's the thing:

Your biology matters. And so does your brain.

Sometimes there are physical reasons you're experiencing intense hunger, cravings, or food noise. And sometimes we're using food to cope with stress, boredom, exhaustion, uncomfortable emotions, or simply the demands of life.

Amy and I talk about what happens when you begin addressing both sides of the equation.

    One of the biggest takeaways

If you've spent years thinking, "Why can't I just control myself around food?", I hope this conversation gives you a different question to consider:

    "What's actually going on here?"

Because understanding your body doesn't mean you have to give up personal responsibility.

It means you finally have more information to work with.

And when the biological side of hunger becomes easier to manage, you may discover that there are still thoughts, habits, and emotional patterns around food that deserve attention too.

That's where the mind + body connection becomes so important.

You don't have to choose between taking care of your metabolism and working on your relationship with food. There may be value in addressing both.

    A note about GLP-1s, PCOS & peptides

Amy is sharing her personal experience in this episode—not medical advice or a recommendation that everyone should use a GLP-1 or peptides.

If you recognize yourself in Amy's story or suspect you may have PCOS or metabolic concerns, talk with your healthcare provider about your individual symptoms, history, and options.

  • The Truth About Insulin, Hunger & Fat Storage

ou've been told for years that weight loss is simple: eat less and move more.

But what if there's more to the story?

In this episode, we're talking about one of the most important hormones to understand when it comes to weight, hunger, cravings, and fat storage: insulin.

Insulin doesn't just regulate blood sugar. It also plays a major role in how your body stores and accesses energy—and understanding this can completely change the way you approach weight loss.

This isn't about being afraid of food, eliminating carbohydrates, or trying to eat as little as possible.

It's about understanding how your body works so you can start working with your physiology instead of constantly fighting against it.

    Because your body isn't broken.

And weight loss isn't simply a matter of having more willpower.

Insulin is one piece of the puzzle—and it's a piece I think every woman trying to lose weight should understand.

In this episode, we're taking a deep dive into urges—what they are, what's really going on underneath them, and how to allow them without automatically giving in.

You'll learn why learning to allow urges is such a powerful part of making weight loss permanent, and how this skill can help you finally break the cycle of fighting, resisting, and eventually giving in to food.

Listen today to get answers to all of these questions—and learn one of the keys to losing weight and actually keeping it off.

  • Scared Shitless to Stop Your GLP-1? Let's Talk About Why.

If you're taking a GLP-1, thinking about starting one, or you've ever had the thought, "What am I going to do when I come off this?"—this episode is for you.

First, let's be clear: I'm not anti-GLP-1. These medications can be incredibly helpful for people. They can quiet food noise, reduce cravings, and make it easier to feel satisfied.

But there's another part of the weight-loss equation that medication may not address: emotional eating.

In this episode, we're talking about why it's so important to use this time to get curious about why you eat—not just whether you're hungry.

If you're ready to understand your emotional eating, change your relationship with food, and learn to trust yourself again, that's exactly the work we do inside Foodie to Freedom and my 1:1 coaching.

Because the goal isn't just to lose weight.

It's to understand yourself so well that food doesn't have the same power over you that it used to.

    That's true freedom.
