Football Absurdity

The usual suspects break down their early top-ten at running back and quarterback.

Walker, Mike & Jeff discuss the fallout from the 2026 NFL Draft. First, they review veteran winners & losers for 2026 fantasy football, and then they (briefly) go over their top-18 for dynasty rookie drafts.

Often copied, never duplicated, the Football Absurdity original, a “mock draft!” In this, we take turns choosing for all 32 picks of the first round! Walker and Jeff will return on Friday to recap round one and react to rounds two and three live on the pod, only on Patreon!

It’s Jeff’s flu game as he, Mike & Walker review the first seven running backs in their consensus ranks for 2026: Jeremiyah Love, Mike Washington, Jadarian Price, Jonah Coleman, Nick Singleton, Kaytron “the thinking man’s RB” Allen, and Emmett Johnson!

We return next week to review the rest of this class, before finishing out the 2026 NFL Draft season with a mock draft, and a live review of the second round alongside a first-round review on the Friday of the draft! Enjoy!

Walker, Mike & Jeff return to the rookie streets and discuss the first six wide receivers in their consensus ranks: Makai Lemon, Jordyn Tyson, Carnell Tate, Kevin “Kevin Concepcion” Concepcion, and Omar Cooper, Jr.! They return next week in the Patreon feed only to discuss the second half of our consensus top-twelve receivers & our Trey Ragas Memorial Picks!

Walker, Mike & Jeff review the underwhelming upcoming free agency cropand give wishlist destinations for some of the players involved!

Walker Kelly & Jeff Krisko preview an exceptionally underwhelming 2026 NFL Draft class. They discuss Fernando Mendoza, Cade Klubnik, Carson Beck, Drew Allar, Ty Simpson, Sawyer Robertson, Cole Payton, and Jalon Daniels! Join us next week for the tight ends!

Walker & Jeff run through Super Bowl LX prop bets and build the Brian Sclar Invitational Challenge lineup for the Superb Owl, The Big Game, the National Football League Championship.

Discord Superstar AKMagic (follow him on Bluesky!) joins Mike and Jeff in the interim period between the Conference Championship Games and the Super Bowl to discuss… cricket!

The ICC T20 World Cup (you’ll learn what all those words mean!) starts this week, and we thought it would be a little fun and different to get AKMagic to discuss the worldwide game.

He runs us through the rules, tells us of the cricket equivalent of the 2025 Panthers, international cricket’s surprising origin, and he runs through some juicy international geopolitics heading into the World Cup. There are some references made in this episode to a couple of things:

Cricket Field

Cricket Pitch

Cricket Wicket Setup

Since we recorded this, Jeff watched a cricket match, and after listening check out Jasprit Bumrah putting the New Zealand team in hell.

We will be back this weekend to discuss the Seahawks & Patriots Super Bowl! Enjoy!

Walker & Mike are back! And we talk the next steps for the NFL teams who lost in the playoffs so far, preview the Championship Round games, and build a lineup for the Sclar Invitational Playoff Challenge!
