I give updates on aspects of my spiritual disciplines like; how I failed my social media fast, I'm attempting to read the Bible in a year and my bible study and I had our annual worship and vision night where I wrote out prayer requests for 2026. I shoutout two really incredible influencers and their accounts that have just moved my spirit and make my heart happy whenever they come on my timeline. I also address the severity, both spiritually and legally, of the protest that occurred in the middle of a worship service at a church in Minneapolis.

This week I share my opinion on the recent news of massive fraud happening in Minnesota and share my support for Nick Shirley and other independent reporters' work to illuminate these problems. I also discuss how Khloe Kardashian shared her faith on her podcast, my hesitation with public content creators that sound "Christian" but don't align with scripture and how dangerous the modern day term "spirituality" is to those curious or searching for Biblical relationship and discipleship with Jesus.

My dear friend Mark is on the podcast this week and in Part Two we discuss the story of the time I received the Holy Spirit, how that encounter fortified my view on God's character- as a loving, intentional pursuer and gave me what I needed to fulfill what He has called me to since then.
Mark also encourages me in how I have played an important role in not only his, but so many others' walks with the Lord. We go in depth about how crucial community is and how blessed we have been with the people God has given us in friendship.

As we enter into another new year, I wanted to talk about how God has used specific words/themes over the last four years to invite me into deeper revelations, conversations and relationship with Him. I initially thought that after failing to "master" any one of these words that come New Years the following year, I wouldn't be given a new one, that I would need to "pass" one to move on to the next. Instead, in His kindness, God has done the exact opposite. He continues to bring me into each new year with a new word- one that is intimate and specific, like only one who formed my heart and knows it could draw up.
In partnership with the Holy Spirit, I like to hold a vision night in January, where I partner with the Lord in writing out prayers, personal, audacious and on behalf of others. I walk you through how I organize my category of prayers, my process in dating them and eventually one day moving (at least some) into the "answered prayer" jar. Holding the tension of disappointment in the prayers that were answered with a "no or a not yet," while rejoicing and praising God for His goodness in the ones answered with a "yes," is a practice I have come to admire.

How do you prepare to rest when you are in anguish? How do you rest when your soul is restless? And how do you hope when all hope seems lost?
This Christmas episode we go not to Jesus' birth, but to his resurrection to find our response on how we are to prepare to hope. We talk about the significance of preparation, of Sabbath/rest and of obedience.
This podcast is an invitation to not only prepare to hope, but to dare to hope. To rest and wait in the discomfort of the in between, in the quiet while maintaining faith that whatever you have hoped for isn't over until God says it is.

This episode is an unfiltered and respectful discussion between an Atheist and a Christian as they seek to hear out the other's different worldview. In Part II of a two-part conversation with Joe, we discuss why a loving God allows suffering and destruction, evolution v. Eden, if the resurrection story of Jesus can be trusted and marriage and monogamous relationships in and outside of a religious framework.

This episode is an unfiltered and respectful discussion between an Atheist and a Christian as they seek to hear out the other's different worldview. In Part I of a two-part conversation with Joe, we dive into how he came to the decision to leave religion, where the church has gone wrong and our views on sexuality and faith.
We also discuss what these worldviews mean while we're here on earth. The impact belief in a deity or lack thereof has on our outlooks on purpose, human nature/depravity, good v. evil, and sin.

This is an unofficial "Part 3" of a 3 part conversation based on an encounter I had with the Lord. In a powerful, much needed time of weeping that came from reading the book, "Searching for Sunday," the idea of God keeping us, even when we didn't want to became tangibly real.
God being the sustainer of all things He created includes us. He is able to sustain us not only because He made us, but because He has gone before us so He is the only one who actually knows what we will inevitably need. When He asks us and tasks us to carry something heavy- when the privilege starts to feel more like a burden- He doesn't leave us to deal with it on our own. He invites us into a partnership where we can humbly admit we need Him, casting the burden at His feet and in return He will strengthen, keep and uphold us.

This is an unofficial "Part 2" of a 3 part conversation based on an encounter I had with the Lord. In a powerful, much needed time of weeping that came from reading the book, "Searching for Sunday," the premise of the church as both a body and a bride was illuminated. The metaphor of being pregnant with something, with carrying something, came into view and I immediately thought of the woman who was anointed to carry the most precious thing.
We dive into Luke 1 to analyze the differences between Zachariah and Mary. Two people given the same promise from the Lord, with two drastically different responses. We talk about the cost of carrying something great from the Lord and the importance of who is alongside you as you do.
