Here are some key details about Ibrahim Sangare's football career so far:

Born in October 1996 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. His playing position is defensive midfielder.

Started his professional career at Toulouse FC in France in 2016 after coming through their youth academy system. Made over 80 appearances for them between 2016-2020.

Transferred to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in 2020 for a reported €7.5 million. Went on to make over 100 appearances and scored 6 goals.

Won the Dutch Cup with PSV in 2020-21 and also helped them qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Sangare was named in the Eredivisie Team of the Year for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.

At international level, he represents Ivory Coast. He made his debut in 2017 and has over 20 caps. Was part of their squad at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In August 2023, Nottingham Forest signed him for £30.5 million on a four-year contract, marking his first move to English football.

Known for his strong physical presence, tackling ability and powerful running from midfield. Stands out at 6ft 3in tall.

Still only 26 years old, Sangare is seen as having significant potential to develop further as he enters his prime years as a midfielder
