It's the very 8th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! Please excuse the delay....This week Melissa and Chuck chat about the recently released Canadian zombie film "Blood Quantum" directed by Jeff Barnaby and the 1990 anthology film "Tales From the DarkSide". Heads up - there's some slight technical issues in this one and Chuck gets a bit whiney about his hurt back (whatabitch) but we think you'll still like it. Why? Because Steve Buscemi. That's why. Come hear how many times Melissa can say his name in an hour and 15 minutes (spoiler - it's WAY too many times). Also, hear Chuck get nostalgic over some cutesy gargoyles and hear some great insight into what the crotchal region of a famous horror director (probably) looks like. It's a fun one!
Also discussed: Extra-Ordinary (2020), One Eyed Monster (2009), Demon House (2018), The Devil's Rejects (2005)

It's the very 7th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!! This week we discuss the recently released film "Witches in the Woods" (Spoiler: to say we didn't dig this flick would be a monumental understatement) and "The Hills Have Eyes" - both the classic movie directed by Wes Craven and the 2006 remake by Alexandre Aja. Tune in to hear how we feel about drama obsessed, over-entitled, incredibly stupid college kids and why we'd rather root for a bear-trap-using animal poacher. Also, hear about Mel's questionable upbringing and Chuck's love of angry dads and angry bosses. Yeah, it's a bit of an angry one, but we think you'll probably not hate it!!

Don't get too excited, it's nobody special...well, to nobody except us, anyways) discuss the recently released 80's throwback, Satanic Panic film "We Summon the Darkness" starring Johnny Knoxville and the gorgeous (as Chuck will be sure to let you know) Alexandra Daddarrio. We also take a deep dive into 2014's horror comedy "What We Do in the Shadows" and get ready for a love fest as all 3 of us gush over how wonderfully quirky and hilarious it is. Also tune in to hear our guest's passion for band vans; Melissa's love of butts and a particular vampire's cool ass jacket; and Chuck's total hatred of anyone needlessly abbreviating words in order to...sound cool? It's the very 5th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!! This week, Chuck and Melissa chit chat about the creepy new film "Vivarium" starring Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg. We also deep dive into the wonderfully gory, and headscratchingly nonsensical "Hellbound: Hellraiser II" by Tony Randel and Clive Barker. Tune in to find out just how little it would take for Melissa to chop an alien child's head off, and listen to Chuck defend his milk drinking habit. Also, there's a very inappropriate phrase used several times in this episode thanks to Melissa. Can you guess what it is??
