It’s the very 41st episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week we’re talking about the new(ish) film “ Hunter Hunter” starring Devon Sawa. Yeah, we know we’re a bit late, but January is a giant black hole for new releases, so try your hardest to forgive us. We both agreed the movie is pretty good and give it a big ol’ recommend! We also discuss Takashi Miike’s “Audition” from 1999. And when I say “discuss” I really mean we just sit and gush over for half an hour because it’s a damn near masterpiece. We had a great time this week with convo’s full of Melissa’s hatred for vomit, Chuck’s fear of the great outdoors, and how much we both enjoy bear traps in our horror movies. It’s the very 40th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week, we’re talking shit on the new film “Shadow in the Clouds”! Chloe Grace Moretz is wonderful, but this movie is a complete mess. From a cheesy gremlin, to completely silly, over the top action sequences, to gaping plot holes - we cover it all. Sorry not sorry if you liked it. We also discuss the 1963 film “Blood Feast” which we absolutely adore. We find the score to be particularly entertaining, as you’ll find out during the trailer. it’s the very 35th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week we are joined by Chuck’s lovely wife Amanda to chit chat about the recent Christoper Landon (Happy Death Day) film “Freaky”. And while it might be a gimmickry rehashing of “Freaky Friday”, we all actually found it to be a pretty freaking funny movie (see what I did there?). We also talk about 2017’s babysitter-in peril-during-Christmas time movie "Better Watch Out", which all 3 of us had pretty different opinions on, tho we do all recommend it. This one’s a doozy at 2 hours long so you know it’s not short on goofy depravity, long winded stories, and a few too many sidetractions (as Melissa would say). We hope you freaks dig it!!

It’s the very 34th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week we discuss the recently released possession horror film “The Dark and the Wicked” which both of your hosts strongly recommend. Be warned tho, it is not for the faint of heart. It’s very dark, bleak, depressing, and downright scary. At least we thought so. We also discuss 2010’s horror comedy “Tucker and Dale vs. Evil”.

It’s the very 33rd episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week we are joined by our good ol’ pal Sideshow Mike to discuss the abomination that is “Thankskilling 3” (which is really just “Thankskilling 2” in disguise and we totes don’t explain the concept behind it during the episode and I’m too lazy to do it here - sorry not sorry). Mike and Melissa have some very nasty things to say about this film, so if you liked it, you’ll have to join team Chuck in his rather weak defense of it. We also discuss the classic Thanksgiving slasher “Blood Rage” from 1987 and all the goofy shit we love from start to finish in it. This was a very silly and fun episode full of sidetractions (Melissa sometimes makes up words) about Sideshow Mike’s love of “Rocco’s Modern Life”, Melissa’s pronunciation of the word “Frankenstein”, Chuck’s ongoing defense of his affinity for a certain dairy product, and much, much more! We hope you freaks love it and have a great Thanksgiving!!!

It’s the very 32nd episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week we discuss “May the Devil Take You, Too”, the sequel to the 2018 film by the same name (minus Too). While it didn’t quite hold up on all fronts to the first, we did thoroughly enjoy most of it’s chaotic “Evil Dead” vibes, it’s plentiful gore, and it’s better than typical execution of several possession movie tropes. We also take a deep dive into Steven King’s “Dreamcatcher”. And, while Melissa remains a stark apologist for this 2003 film, Chuck has a couple questions regarding the writing, the dialogue, and a certain set of eyebrows. Though neither of your hosts can disagree on it being absolutely entertaining, not easily forgettable, and a must see horror movie. This one’s a tad short, but you do get to hear quite a bit from a certain furry good boy. We hope you freaks dig it!!!
