It’s the very 50th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! Holy shit, we’re halfway to 100, and next week is our 1 year anniversary episode!! Anyways, this week, Chuck and Mel endure another 2021 dud in “Stay Out of the Fucking Attack”. While not quite as bad as some of what we’ve seen so far this year, we just weren’t at all impressed by this poorly acted, inanely illogical, and occasional insensitive, Nazi-centric thriller. BUT, maybe you can find some redeeming qualities where we didn’t. We also discuss 1974’s mutant baby slasher, “It’s Alive” directed by the great Larry Cohen, We have some great conversations about strange 70’s beard styles, what we would do if we had just pushed a giant headed monster baby from our vaginas, and a little debate on which one of your hosts is taking this movie a bit too seriously. It’s the very 49th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week, we are joined by Chuck’s lovely wife Amanda to discuss the new monster flick, “The Devil Below”, directed by Bradly Parker (“Chernobyl Diaries”). If you’ve seen it, we don’t think we’ll be alone in saying that it might possibly end up being one of the worst movies of 2021. Chuck calls it “a lifeless shell of a movie” and theorizes that it may have actually been directed by a lifeless robot. We do not recommend it. And 2021 was going so well… Anyways, we also discuss the early 2000’s slasher “Final Destination” and have a fun little conversation about the worst ways to die. It’s a fun one full of talk of kitchen vibrators, how incredibly terrible the 80’s viewed mental illness, and a man named Dick Sex. Yeah, it’s a wild one. Go get it, ya freaks!!!

It’s the very 47th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week, we watched the new “Wrong Turn” remake and we discuss why on earth it has the name “Wrong Turn” when it has absolutely nothing to do with anything that is the “Wrong Turn” franchise. No inbreds, not a slasher, and no Eliza Dushku-like hotties. This did, however, have an annoying character or 2, several gaping plot holes, and the audacity to run 2 hours long (which was 2 hours too long, in our opinion). Anyways, if you can’t tell, we weren’t fans. We also watched the delightful, Irish horror comedy “Grabbers” and learned some fun new Irish terms like “gobshite” and “langered”. It’s a fun episode filled with some Sideshow Mike moments, Chuck’s near death coughing fit (no, it’s not Covid related; he’s just a bitch), and a pterodactyl flyby. Go get it, ya freaks!!!

It’s the very 46th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week, we are joined by my lovely wife, Amanda!! The 3 of us discuss the recently released demonic-animatronic film “Willy’s Wonderland” starring a very quiet Nicolas Cage (seriously, he has zero lines and he still manages to be AMAZING). With some fun kills, both human and animatronic alike, a uniquely quirky tone, and a thoroughly entertaining lead, we thoroughly enjoyed this weird little flick and would even go as far as to say it’s totally worth the 20$ early access rental! We also talk about the 2009 sci-fi vampire film, “Daybreakers” and all of its bloody, gorey goodness. We may not have all agreed on the movie’s overall merit, or the likeability of certain characters (we’re looking at you, Willem Dafoe and Ethan Hawk), but we did all agree that this has a most memorable villain in Sam Neil, and an even more memorable ending. Anyways, we had a lot of fun on this one and we hope you dig it! Tune in wherever you get your podcasts, ya freaks!!!

It’s the very 42nd episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week, we discuss the new film from Steven Kostanski, “Psycho Goreman”. The movie that will most likely (definitely) reign in the #1 spot for the remainder of the year (and yes I am fully aware there are 11 months left). We absolutely loved it and Chuck even went as far as to say it broke his top 10 all time list. We also discuss 2009’s Nazi zombie flick “Dead Snow” and all the death, gore, and hilarity therein.
