It’s the very 90th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!! We’ve come to the end of Anthology April!! And we were only 1 episode short! Sorry, VHS. Maybe next time… Anyways, to close out the month, we talk about John Carpenter’s “Body Bags” from 1993. While not all of the 3 segments are amazing, we agree that this is definitely a fun anthology movie full of memorable cameos, great little stories, and is absolutely worth checking out. Oh, and we probably spend way too much time gushing over John Carpenter as the ghoulish coroner host of the wrap around who makes terrible puns while he sips on formaldehyde. And, y’know, just how great John Carpenter is in general. Come get it, ya freaks!!!

It’s the very 89th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!! We’re in the thick of Anthology April this week as we talk about Stephen King’s “Cat’s Eye” from 1985. It’s the very 83rd episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!! On time and in full!!! This week, we’re talking about the classic Dario Argento film from 1975, “Deep Red”! One of our favorite giallo movies, this is yet another episode where we praise and gush over every scene, character, and event in a movie. From the kickass Goblin score, to wonderfully gorey kills, and moody atmosphere, “Deep Red” is one of the greatest films of it’s kind of all time and we had a blast talking about it. There’s also some conversations about Mel’s love for Lucio Fulci, Chuck complains about beloved horror icons for some reason and also uses the word atmosphere” WAY too much, and both hosts have almost the exact same freaky favorites AGAIN.
