In today's episode we chat with Mark Jenkins who has been in the accounting industry for 35 years, with over 20 years in Public Practice with the majority of that time as sole Director of Quay Accountants in the sunshine capital of NZ - Whakatane.

Mark joined forces with Viv Brownrigg, and together they founded The Gap, enabling Accounting firms throughout NZ, Australia and the UK to build recurring Business Advisory revenue.

We talked about Mark's journey, starting with his first introduction to tax at just 10 years old, his personal why that drives him, imposter syndrome and his view of the future of accountancy, and much more! Mark also shares some great insights to marketing that are key for all business owners.
