The idea of building an aggregator of crypto exchanges came from one such hackathon and it came when the RBI imposed a two-year ban on cryptocurrency. But this did not stop Ashish and he took this product to the global market as a B2B product.
However, to educate and make cryptocurrency accessible to Indian users, CoinSwitch Kuber was started in 2020 and is currently valued at USD 1.9 billion and has over 11 million registered users.
