It's Mind Change Monday!
You spend your entire life performing self-brain surgery, whether you do it intentionally or not. This is the biggest single realization of my life, and it should produce a desire in us to make sure we're competent and effective as self-brain surgeons. Because your mind is operating on your brain every moment of your life, either passively or actively.
What you're doing, you're getting better at. So do you want to be getting better at using your mind and brain the way God designed them, or letting other things (past traumas, tragedies, other people, circumstances, or simply thought negligence) direct the way your brain is formed?
Today, we're going to look at the four different ways we can operate our brains, and which one we should be trying to master.
Scripture: II Corinthians 10:5 (take captive), Romans 12:2 (transform), Ephesians 4:13-19 (Gentile mind), I Corinthians 2:16 (Mind of Christ), Philippians 4:6-8
