This year, Indonesia and Russia commemorate 70 years of diplomatic relations. Despite the huge geographical distance between them, Indonesia and Russia have been able to forge a productive bilateral relationship, though marked with ups and downs. In the midst of geopolitical competitions and global uncertainty, Indonesia should be able to maximize its huge potential in its bilateral relations with Russia in many fields, such as political, economic, military, and socio-cultural spheres, while maintaining Indonesia’s principles of an independent and active foreign policy. This bilateral cooperation is conducted not simply between governments and politicians, but also involving significant people-to-people contacts. In this episode of Idea Session, we invited Jonathan Jordan from the Research and Analysis Division to discuss the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Russia. This podcast is hosted by Anggita Andrea from the Opportunity and Development Division. #FPCIUI #InnovateBeyondLimits
