Az and Mark return for another episode of FPL BlackBox ahead of Gameweek 9, to find themselves troubled by their heavy-hitter strikers.  

Not so long ago, all the talk was about going "Threemium" and getting on board with both Ronaldo and Lukaku, now, weeks later we have growing doubts about both.

The boys assess that shift in confidence ahead of a classic form vs fixtures scenario, as Salah maintains his incredible run of form ahead of his clash with Man United. Which way will Az and Mark fall? It's a subject for much debate.

The FPL BlackBox boys return from the international break for a very special episode. Az not only has his Wildcard active, but he and Mark are joined by none other than Lets Talk FPL's Andy.

Arsenal's emergence as a potential force gets some attention, while a rash of defensive casualties undermine last week's cry to go "big at the back". While the Cat's away moving to Hitchin, the mice will play. In this case the mice in question are Mark and guest co-host Luke as they take assume control while Az undergoes his house move. There's much to discuss, not least the new movement towards big investment in defence that's rapidly gaining momentum of the starts made by Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool. Elsewhere, Mark and Luke look back on Gameweek 5, but turn much of their attention to what the forthcoming weekend has in store and and discuss whether to hold on Diogo Jota and Ferran Torres, or move to three up front and embrace the charms of Allan Saint-Maximin.

The international break is nearly over (thank the Maker) and after the record-breaking episode last time out, the FPL BlackBox boys have got a lot to live up to. To be honest, those boots might be a bit too big to fill, but they'll do their best, and Mark has some extra stats on Man U with Cavani (at Az's request). And as always, the boys preview the Gameweek to come with lots of chat on the captaincy despite Ronaldo's arrival.
