Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! At the end of a long and gruelling season, Chris and Andy are back to review how it went. In this first of two season review shows the lads go position by position to ponder the various FPL assets who stood out. This then leads them to a team of the season from both and ultimately, the third annual, ever-prestigious, FPL Lounge Player of the Season (from a fantasy perspective). Whoever could it be....?

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge for the final preview pod of the season! It's the GW38 Preview.

They run through the permutations of GW38, with only a handful of teams with things to play for, primarily those locked in a relegation battle and those trying to claim England's final European spot. They look at some final day data from years gone by, concluding it's best to target goals and not target clean sheets!

No radar this week in its usual format; instead, the lads go fixture-by-fixture trying to unearth the gems that might secure your high rank or win your mini-league. Two minutes per fixture and two men never short of things to say...

The lads do their final honey trap of the season, before a fairly lengthy discussion on captaincy - will Andy finally be brave enough to go without his armband on Haaland? They finish, as ever, with another dead rubber game of Who The Heck Is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge for the GW37 Preview.

The lads are back with the penultimate GW preview of the season, and it's the final double of the season, with four teams playing twice in GW37.

They run through the permutations of GW37, with a handful of teams with nothing to play for, they ponder whether assets from these teams should be ignored. They also look at potential rotation, particularly among teams fighting on multiple fronts, like the Manchester clubs, or those who've had a fixture backlog, like Brighton.

A trim radar sees them focus on Andy's favourite team, with an asset in the centre and two more on the fringe, while they also highlight a few players with good underlying numbers but playing for bad sides with relegation a real possibility.

Swimming against the tide features a player who's hit a rich vein of form, but the lads doubt whether it can continue into the last few matches, while Captaincy features the age-old discussion about the temptation to veer away from Haaland. They finish, as ever, with another dead rubber game of Who The Heck Is Stat?!

The lads are back again as the Gameweeks come in thick and fast - and this ones a doubler!

With only 3 GWs left and doubles this week and next, the radar features players form teams with extra fixtures. The biggest of debates this week is which NEW FWD to go for - the lads talk through the pros and cons of Isak vs Wilson. They go on to look at other BRI and NEW assets, plus anyone else catching their eye

Swimming against the tide features a player who's scored a few from the edge of the box recently and is one of the highest scoring players in the game - are the lads too bold in swimming against bringing him in? Captaincy takes into account City's intense 2 legs against R. Madrid which straddle this GW, plus the fact 2 teams are on doubles - do you go for the the old guard of Haaland/Salah or a doubler from NEW or BRI?

Although the title is done and dusted, anguish still persists for Chris as the lads end the show with a little game they like to call Who The Heck Is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge for the GW35 Preview.

The lads are back with their final 'normal' pod of the season, given there's just two double gameweeks and the final day to go. Despite being as the business end of the season, they discuss another Premier League managerial change, as Big Sam tries to firefight Leeds United away from safety. Will he be able to turn them around defensively enough to prevent an onslaught against the Champions Elect Man City at the weekend?

But it's City defensive assets that are on the centre of the radar, with the lads struggling to determine which offers best value, and which offers the best guarantee of minutes. They're similar confused on the mid-range when it comes to Newcastle forwards and the ever-increasing array of Brighton attacking assets that'd all have excellent FPL value - if minutes were guaranteed!

Nothing to swim against this week, so the lads try to catch each other in their honey trap, before discussing captaincy options and finishing, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck Is Stat?!

The radar has many new faces who benefit from good run-ins including multiple double gameweeks. Liverpool and Brighton attackers are back in view, which might be expected, but what won't be is the defensive players who have come into form. Strikers and City's good run also feature.

A blank gameweek for four teams due to the FA Cup semi finals leads the lads to inevitably talk about strategy, with many managers - and listeners - likely to use their Free Hit chip this week. But fear not, if you're on a different strategy!

The radar tries to look at players that can benefit managers on a Free Hit and just using free transfers to navigate this blank, with an eye on future doubles too. It inevitably, then, includes a few standout Liverpool assets, who are unlikely to need much introduction to FPL managers. The radar also runs the rule over an in-form striker for a struggling club, budget midfield assets at Fulham and a rejuvenated Crystal Palace, and a final mention of Free Hit specific players.

The radar again lacks a player the lads feel strongly enough to put in the centre, but does include several players on the mid-range, including one upgrade from last weeks' fringe. It also includes a premium asset with good fixtures and good underlying numbers, but who is not quite passing the lad's eye test. There's also a mention for a budget forward with plenty of upside.
