FPL Lounge

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! We're back with a short turnaround again, this time to preview GW19 - a double for 2 teams.

One man just cannot seem to escape the centre of the radar - even if his alarm clock's on the blink! Not many new additions but some shifts in the radar with 2 strikers and in in-form midfielder in the midrange. Defenders occupy the fringes and there are many options to keep an eye on with the transfer window having flown open.

Short turnarounds often mean not many transfers for the lads to swim against so round up the bees as its another honey trap for them to consider this gameweek. Captaincy is inteersting for oonce! Haaland is of course an option but with a tougher fixture, who else could we consider - the lads take a look. They then finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! Short turnaround from GW17 to GW18, but that's not left Andy and Chris without plenty to discuss!

The radar has a similar feel to last week, with two players retaining their place and one of last week's fringe players getting an upgrade, while Andy and Chris finally - FINALLY - add an FPL 22/23 darling to their radar. They also consider Reece James replacements - how does Andy feel about Utd defenders?

Not much to swim against this week, so they try to catch each other in their respective honey traps (show me the honey, bebe) before finishing with a Haaland captaincy cert and  a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! We're back for the restart of the FPL season with unlimited transfers and a packed festive football fixture fiesta!

One man who's form seems to have survived through the change from domestic football to the World Cup and back again makes his way to the centre of the radar - with great fixtures and a great price in hand to boot! With unlimited transfers there are options to consider all over the pitch and the lads look at who they think are the best bets, with perhaps the striker position causing the most amount of thinking.

Over 3/4 million managers have transferred in a player with 3 of last season's top 7 in his next 3 fixtures and the lads can't understand why - so they're swimming against that rather large tide! Captaincy of course means Salah and Haaland get a mention but if someone is on the centre of the radar this week, they've got to be great option too right? The lads finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! Its the final Gameweek before the World Cup and the lads are here to guide you through the ultimate one week punt!

There are no different ranges of the radar this week as the lads consider the pros and cons of EVERY fixture! With unlimited free transfers before the world cup you can take a punt on anyone - so who should you go for? The lads consider all the teams in quickfire fashion.

There is a very strange tide to swim against as many managers have wrongly assumed that one of the best premium assets won't be available in a great looking home fixture - don't be one of them! Captaincy predictably focuses on Haaland's availability but have the old reliables of Salah and Kane come back into the thinking more this week? They finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! In the penultimate Gameweek before the World Cup break, let Andy & Chris guide you through the teams and assets worth a short-term punt, before unlimited transfers can undo any errors (looking at you, Zaha).

The centre of the radar features a triple-up on a favourite team to draw FPL assets from - two of which are already well-owned, but who could take that coveted third spot? The mid-range of the radar includes some familiar faces, and some defences with budget defenders to target over the next two GWs. And is Andy starting to believe in Man Utd's defence again?

They swim against the tide of a player who's struggled for gametime recently, but who is an elite FPL performer on his day, before having a very simple Haaland's injury-dependent captaincy segment. They finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! Just three Gameweeks to go now until the World Cup break, and it may feel tempting to take a few more risks ahead of having unlimited transfers before the resumption of the Premier League. Fear not, as the FPL Lounge is here to guide you through the pros and cons of various possible assets.

A bloated radar features a discussion about four similarly priced forwards with plenty of upside, while also featuring an OOP midfielders and a few players the lads mentioned last week.

They swim against not one, but two players being transferred out this week, before discussing the risks of captaining a potentially injured Haaland and finishing, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! No sooner has GW12 ended and GW13 is here. Big guns Arsenal and City are back and we're truly on the run in to the mid season break now.

Possibly the most balanced radar of the season with one of the 8m MIDs group in the centre, an enabler MID on the fringes and some cheap starting DEFs in good teams on the mid range.

With transfers understandably dominated by the returning ARS and MCI players, the lads turn to the Honey Trap to highlight some FPL fancies this week, and try to catch each other out. Captaincy sees many premiums against weaker opposition and the lads finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! BGW12 is here, with no Arsenal or City players to choose from, it's sure to be an interesting week in the world of FPL.

Mitro remains on the radar after a scoring return from injury in GW11, while there's the addition of three new players - all from the same team! The lads also take a peek into the defensive numbers of an underperforming team, and offer up a wing back who could be played out of position in GW12.

The lads swim against the tide of a player who has poor underlying numbers despite returns in GW11, while the Captaincy debate feels like it's plucked straight from the 2021/22 season. They finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! GW11 has arrived but Haaland didn't score a hat-trick last week so who knows what could happen this time.

Injuries, Europe and injuries in Europe are *once again* covered in the talking points, along with a look ahead to the BGW12.

Mitro reappears on the radar (fitness permitting - although there's an expectation he'll be fit to take advantage of a good fixture run) along wide a premium forward getting closer to the centre. Some Chelsea assets appear on the fringes, and the lads also mention a few flyers.

The lads swim against the tide of a player who has a tough fixture, followed by a blank, and the Captaincy debate extends well beyond Haaland - for this GW, at least. They finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! GW10 has arrived following another Haaland monster haul dominating the previous one.

Injuries, Europe and injuries in Europe are covered in the talking points.

The Players on The Radar sees some defensive options solidify their place and Mitro replacements considered. However the segment descends into a wider debate about the difficulty of selecting players this season and the inconsistency of many assets - how do we pick who to go for?!

The lads swim against the tide of a player who, despite looking decent in a team with newly found attacking swagger, has an awkward fixture run to navigate. Captaincy is becoming an almost pointless conversation these days - surely there's only one option? They finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck is Stat?!
