The long overdue second installment of Fragra-Files featuring the perfumes of Hedi Slimane's Celine. An incredible collection of extremely thoughtful and luxurious scents that are both as gorgeous as they are incredibly consistent with their through-line of orris, musk and soft woody notes. But who is the perfumer behind these compositions and why are they so focused on youthful (and slender) beauty in their inspirations? Well, we have our thoughts and discuss at length as we go through the entire collection that has become a true favorite of Fragraphilia.
Lots of talk about tea, narcissus, and two brands we really like weaving in and out of this episode. The latter being St Rose, which continues to impress us, and a new-to-us brand, Pekji out of Turkey. We also share some thoughts on a handful of samples we tested out this past week including both Odile and Odette from Gumamina.

Through moving, shoddy HVAC systems that needed to be replaced, hurricane wind storms and power outages, we are back, baby! We're back to business in 2024 (again) after a bit of downtime thanks to the daycare plague. Voices and senses all restored, or at least that's how we start, but Jeff inadvertently destroys Jane's olfactive abilities in round two of the game. Live and learn!

We're back, baby! It's so good to finally have time to sit down and share a few thoughts on what we've been wearing, sampling, and receiving lately.
