Fragraphilia - The Podcast

In our first installment of Fragraphilia & Friends, we decide to bring in some high level sophistication, grace, and the ability the properly pronounce French words. We proudly welcome the wonderful Tracy Wan to the podcast.

Throughout the episode we discuss Tracy's backstory, her upbringing, perfume-y fruits and stinky food. We also bond over her affinity for gauzy lens cinema and our shared love of Hitchcock films.

Oh, and of course, she joins us for a pretty strong round of The Game. Watch out wantlist!

We've been so excited to discuss the newest release from Paraphrase Perfumes, Fruit Thieves, which was totally worth all the customs delays. Thanks to Josh who kindly sent it to us as a gift. We speak a bit more about brands and perfumes in general rather than specific releases this episode but we wanted to discuss design, bottles, and what piques our interest when we are shopping new houses and fragrances. Preferences that go beyond just the note list. We also discuss dabbers and our best approach at maximizing their wear in response to a listener message. Spoiler Alert - We're no help!

In this episode we discuss a few new to us perfumes from the houses of Aedes de Venustas and Reservation, the latter being a new brand that keeps popping up on our social feeds, and we are very impressed by both. A couple even rocketed up our respective want lists. Also, Jeff is looking for some magnolia perfumes and Jane discusses a new favorite from Trudon composed by Lyn Harris back in 2017.

During The Game, we are challenged by an old world recipe, note lists that scare us a bit, and one that's probably more suited for a night out than an afternoon at the playground with your toddler.
